Mica Rose is on back-order at Nordies. When I ordered Sweet Star I i included the lip conditioner to prepare me for TF BD---just in case

Oh that's smart actually! Even if BD isn't overly drying, never hurts to have a good base.

I'm actually thinking I might get the cocorange eyeliner. Not sure what's gotten into me! LOL

NM has had these brush sets for over 2 weeks. They could sell them right away. The brushes are good. The roll sleeve for the brushes is nice. The carry case is pretty much like the ones previously made. I passed on this based on I own the entire set of Kevyn Aucoin brushes, along with some Tom Ford, Chanel and MAC brushes. I also have the Artis brushes. The #8 oval works really well on foundation and setting powder.

I'm thinking about the brush set when I get a few dollars. I don't have any Chanel brushes. It may be a nice way to try and I love travel size brushes that are good quality. I am very interested in the Artis brushes. I spent last weekend researching them and was undecided which ones to try first. I ended up getting the liner brush from Mac though. I understand Artis makes them. I'm wondering if they use the same fibers for the Mac one though. I went with the Mac version because I was doing an overnight delivery and didn't think I could wait. I'm trying to decide on my next Artis brush. I do like the Mac one for the eyebrows. I did see a video where they use the liner for the outer part of the brows and then blended with a circle brush. I still haven't gotten the hang of the Mac/Artis liner brush for actual eyeliner. I haven't had much time to play around with it.

So glad to see the email on Sweet Star this evening. I'm so happy my Specktra friends can get it. I'm still curious about the liners. I was thinking of Cocorange for me but an MA recommended Berry Lucky and the blue one for me. I still haven't seen any pics of it on anyone's eyes.

Foudroyante - Yay! I'm enjoying this one a bunch.

In other news. I wore Rayonnante again today and got compliments on it. When I was putting it on I was thinking it was a bit deeper and started to change but I just didn't have time. My aunt liked it and said it was a subdued pink. I thought wow this is bright for me. So different folks, different strokes. I have worn it a lot this year so great purchase for me. But maybe I need a deeper fall version. Love the Rouge Allure formula. I think I must get more from the new Rouge Allure collection. I must try a gloss too.

I really love Envol IdO, can't stop staring at it, but also can't really figure out how to fit it into my jeans and t-shirt lifestyle, lol.
I was just thinking that I should get this.Ahh, just throw it on with a little top liner & wear it every day :)

I got the #6 and #8 Artis. I had previously purchased the MAC oval 6 and the head snapped off 4 different brushes. The neck on the Artis seems wider then on the MAC. MAC has also pulled the sale of #6 oval brush. I have kept the boxes to see if these will snap off too. For a great starter brush set check out Trish McEvoy. I picked one up about a month ago for travel. I have Chanel brushes over 20 years old, my mom's....I also like the Dior cream foundation brush with the angled tight round head for the Chanel creme blushes. For blending in the eyeshadow, the Kevyn Aucoin blending is the best I have ever used. I like the Tom Ford #2 for Chanel powder blushes. MAC pencil brush and Tom Ford pencil brush are basically dupes, it is the price that is a HUGE difference. Remember, if you purchase your brushes from NM, and after awhile you aren't thrilled, you can return them. No questions asked.

Ray is so gorgeous. I love it and it's so, so easy to wear. The formula is awesome too.

The highlighter was so expensive I did not want to buy it. I switched it in Nordies today and it had to come home with me.

You will love this, have it forever!!!! I still have the silver powder that was released in 2000 or 2001. It will become a timeless classic. As my mom always told me, for a fad, go lightly on the wallet. For a classic, blow the bank.

It was the best I ever had!!! In the past just gobs of crap were layered on my face, and I couldn't wait to wash it off. If you have a chance to get one, please consider doing it. I just put on Reve d'Orient, and it is incredible. The black is more dark silver/charcoal. The gold is not over the top. The lightest color does resemble platinum. I used the Chanel liquid liner #14, the black with the tiny sparkle of silver in it. You can still get this from Chanel.com The brown is not brown, it is more bronze and blends out to a soft color. I run from brown eyeshadow. This quad is a keeper!!!! Then I used the Holiday blush with the light dusting of the highlighter powder. Finish it with the #20 click gloss, and it is outstanding.
I wish this palette was avalaible in Europe
