I had to share this somewhere because it made me laugh out loud and immediately think of Specktra:

Firstly the formula is a one swipe and go formula. Full coverage and opaque!
They are not drying and never bleed. They feel very soft and silky on the lips.
Expensive yes, but worth it in my opinion.
Agreed 100% with DollySnow.

All it takes is one swipe for great coverage. There are a variety of colors available for different looks and the best part is you get great pigmentation and creaminess in one. I have yet to find a lipstick that can do both. I love MAC packaging but think NARS Audacious has done a great job that I dont know if Ill need anything but this (and I swear I dont work for them. Just super happy this product exists! :)

They are advertised as one swipe and go lipsticks. You can apply as many layers as you want babe. I do lol Depends what you like as far as colors go. If you love pinks Michiyo and Claudia are very pretty. There are so many choices :)
Well thank u very much for filling me in, I really appreciate it!!! I will post a pic of my first lippy choice :)

I have heard from a reliable source that the guy in the basement needs some names for his 40 brand spanking new lipsticks. Here are my candidates:
- Louise
- Elizabeth
- Lauren
- Sophia
- Veronica

He needs 35 more. Any suggestions?

I need him to make a Lisa, too. It's for my mother. Although she would not wear it. She's just a shapstick-aholique!

I need some enabling- no, advice- no, really, enabling. I'm not sure which should be my next purchase (I was think Audrey, but Greta just come on my radar with the lovely swatches upthread)

Here is my current collection of 14:

Raquel
Julie
Vanessa
Anita
Anna
Brigitte
Claudia
Natalie
Fanny
Dominique
Jane
Rita
Leslie
Charlotte

Any suggestions for shades that would fill in holes in this collection (aside from oranges)?

You should definitely get both Greta and Audrey. I love them both. How do you feel about corals. Maybe something like Grace?

I sent in a complaint to NARS UK.

I ordered Vivien on Nov. 5th and it still hasn't shipped. Since then I've ordered from several different places and had the items shipped and received. Considering the price I paid for shipping (£6) I'm pretty pissed off. Maybe I'm being unreasonable but for that kind of shipping cost I expect things to get moving quickly. The last time I paid their ridiculous shipping fee I had to still wait 3-4 days for delivery. Not happy, not impressed and if I don't have a response soon Imma flip a lid.

I hear you. You have every reason to be concerned. Hopefully Nars will work to make this right.

If enabling is what you want then GET THEM ALL!

But if you have to pick just one....Olivia or Liv. Dark colors great for fall! And universally flattering :)

Corals and Oranges are shades that I'm saving for spring! Gotta have something to look forward to, right? I thought Grace was pretty, but way too bright for this time of year.

I would have called them but their phone number says they're not open on Mondays! Gosh how nice that must be. Problem is I'd planned on also ordering Dominique. I think I'll wait to do so until I have more patience about me. I think Charlotte will be my next purchase and I'll get it from elsewhere.

Ladies...question for you all

I get pale in the winter but normally I'm medium skin/tanned in the summer. Id like something a bit outside my comfort zone. To give you an idea, I wore red lipstick to work for the first time a week ago (MAC RHPS Oblivion) so this is all new for me. I work in a somewhat conservative environment so I cant rock crazy makeup as much as I love the idea of a super bright coral or a deep garnet or burgundy.

Ive always loved a pale lip from a nude beige to a nude pink but Id like to branch out and try something new. What do you all recommend for my skin type? I would be an NC 20 in MAC (I use Dior Skinflash and went from Beige 200 to Ivory 100 because I am losing my summer tan :(

I have Raquel, Anita, Barbara and Dominique (which is a bit too strong for me but I only put a tiny but on)

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! :)
