I think some people go overboard with their comments on how people spend their money, At the end of the day, even if your lights aren't paid, how is that any of my business? lmao.  I think the youtube ladies just have to apologize or people think they are bragging.  :/ sad, honestly I love watching them and seeing what else I need to buy hahah
True, it isn't anyone's business. At the same time, though you don't want to end up on one of those A&E interventions, ya know? Let people stunt and talk about what they got. Who cares? You don't have to watch. It's all envy and self-righteousness.
oh no :/ I am digging the brightness of that gold :/  what have u heard? is it bad bad? D:
They supposedly crease like crazy, but I say I say if you're really curious, you gotta try it yourself or you'll regret it.

If anyone is curious, here's a quick comparison of Bite mix and mingle in Gavi (top lip) and their regular matte creme lip crayon in Amaretto (bottom lip). As you can see, they're very similar, I could hardly tell a difference in the tube. Swatched and worn, Gavi is a touch darker and more peachy while Amaretto is more nude. Do you need both? No. Am I gonna keep both? Probably

Question for Beauty Blender users-- how do you use it to apply your foundation?

Now that I was without one for a few days since my friends dog ate mine lmao, I've been just using my fingers and omg i forgot how little product actually went a long way. that thing eats makeup right up!! I usually apply by warming up liquid foundation on my hand and dipping the blender directly into it but it wastes SO much product, i hadn't realized.

I actually think I use less foundation with my Beauty blender. Do u dampen urs and get rid of the excess water with a towel/paper towel?
It shouldn't be absorbing ur makeup that much, just the excess, that's why it looks so flawless when u use it imo.

If i apply with my hands i use too much hahah

maybe it's just me

I did the same thing when I used the bb. Never noticed a lot of product being used. After I dip it in the foundation I do the press and roll. I just got my velvetines and I immediately put on wicked. It's beautiful but I won't get carried away. I want to see how it wears. The way I feel, I might fall asleep wearing it. That'll be the real test, right. :haha:

i usually just squeeze the water out and let it dry for 10-20 min, maybe i should try the towel.

hmm it might be in my application, or maybe i'm dipping too much at once.
picking up my velevetines from the office today, cant wait to see if they live up to the hype or if i should stick to KVD

I let it air dry sometimes too, I dampen and squeeze water out, and leave it on my vanity until after brows/eyes are done *about a half hour after lol I know)
and then use it...
:p

I want updates on the velvetines. I love the KVD ones, so I wanna know if these are better

I noticed the same thing with my BB and I know it's laziness but I get annoyed with getting up and wetting it when I'm rushing in the morning

I saw one of the MUA's using MUFE foundation brush over the weekend and the results were great! She said it wastes less product too so of course I'm going to purchase it. http://www.sephora.com/108-large-foundation-brush-P382427?skuId=1536119

I don't know where else to put this but NYX and Kevyn Aucoin is on hautelook today.
I grabbed some Rouge Bunny Rouge from Hautelook today. The site was acting all kinds of crazy but their webchat cs was amazing. Fixed my issue in a minute and were super friendly about it. (Sephora, take notice.)

I got my final package!!!! Now I can post my entire haul. I should be ashamed. I'm not. I work hard so I will not feel guilt when I spend some of that money on me. I'll post a pic soon. This was the order that included my Lime Crime Velveteen.
Good for you Dilli!!!! My sentiments exactly!!!!

I've tried that and it didn't work well.

aw man!! Next time we'll have to plan a meet up. Ofra is actually in South Florida too! They are right in pompano but I don't think they have a storefront.

same here! This stuff is magic and it made my gel better than it was when it was brand new. I no longer have to put it on my hand to warm it up so it's easier to spread.
I love that. I still plan to buy it. I'll try Shontay's remedy while I wait of it to arrive.
