I will always love MAC's lipsticks. A huge portion of my lipsticks are MAC. I have not noticed any issues with their formula, but then, I rarely notice things like that unless they are really obvious. Like, I can tell the difference between drugstore and dept store makeup, but overall, when I buy something from a high end brand I'm happy with the product.

I'm excited to try the NARS lipsticks. I want to see if they're really worth all the hype, and the cost. With my luck I'll probably think they're the best lipsticks of all time and be mad I can't afford to buy all the colors.

These are very much worth it, every penny. Mac is still near and dear to my heart, but within this last year...oi vey. They haven't been consistent in formula, they keep us up at all hours stalking for collections and sometimes days. I will continue to purchase Mac but not as I used to :sigh: But back to Nars, I am happily trying to make a list of lipsticks to try at the Nars Boutique

Guerlain  I really like UD and Bite though I only have one of the Bite matte lip crayons. Nars is good too. I don't own anything KVD.
I discovered KVD this year when I fell in love with LUV. Lol. KVD really has some amazing liquid and Studded Kiss shades. The liquid lipsticks are very intense. As for Nars, what can I say, Nars is an amazing brand that consistently produces top quality ipsticks, lip liners, blush, etc....

Not to mention the process by which they roll out their LE collections like RiRi. It was a big turnoff to me. I like Mac and I still want to like them but the way they've treated their most loyal fans in the past 1.5 years has been a turnoff. It has allowed me to venture out to other brands.
Ikr I hope the nars 20% sale will be black friday bc I'm gonna get about 2 or 3 more lipsticks and a back up of my radiant concealer...I freakin love these lipsticks:) I can't say it enough. Even when my lips are ratchet the lipstick still looks decent!
I hope so too.

I know that's right!!! Ain't nobody got time for all that stalking and they release dry a$$ lipsticks with minute differences such as Riri nude and Styled in Sepia. Those lipsticks really look just alike. I love Mac but I'm over them until they can show me something new. These Nars lipsticks blow Mac out the water!! Maybe Mac will take some notes and step their damn game up! Edit: Riri nude and SIS are not dry but most of Mac's matte lippies are and even when Mac lipsticks are creamy they still don't out perform these lipsticks by a long shot in my opinion:)

and this... I will always love them, went to Henri bendel downtown Chicago to get my makeup done by a mac artist for prom many moons ago. So I'll always love them. But, right now... I can't continue to stay in an abusive (lack of sleep from stalking, same color having) one sided relationship. ;-)

I think I'm going to keep it small and just get a replacement Taj Mahal blush. I was going to get a lippy or two, but decided to get some of the TF Lips & Boys lippies instead.

I had an eyeliner, gloss and eye shadow of her's from back when her line first launched at Sephora and have never gotten anything else since for some reason. I might give the liquid lippies a go one of these days.

I think the NARS lippies are worth the money and you can tell the difference between them and a MAC lipstick. The majority of my lipsticks are MAC as well and they will always have a special place in my heart, but I'm tired of their shenanigans and lack of product consistency so I will not be buying much if anything else from their launches for a good while unless something really phenomenal comes out and will keep to buying only my staple items from now on. When you get around to trying one of these Audacious lippies, I hope you'll enjoy it and post pics of your beautiful face wearing them.

Say no to Mac Club? I'm in!!
It's really not that hard to do, once you do it! I said "no more" several years ago!

Once I discovered Rouge D'Armani lipsticks (same several years ago), I started looking at higher end lippies (I'm addicted to lipstick!). So, now I'm in trouble with Armani, then Tom Ford, then Rouge Gs, now Audacious.... etc! I think I've bought maybe TWO Mac lippies in the last several years and it was because I liked the color and thought "Hey, it's $15... a lot less than I'm used to spending!"

But I don't miss all the craziness and the million-collections-a-year, and not quite knowing what quality you were getting. Although, now I am getting that madness in being addicted to TF, and that is sort of reaching the level of MAC craziness ... but his products are well worth it!
