Hi everyone. I'm a longtime lurker on this forum but never (or hardly ever) post. I've been wanting to try Tom Ford lipsticks for awhile and was so excited to read about the mini lips and boys collection earlier this week. I should have come on this website before ordering my lippies. It was so hard deciding which ones to choose and by the time I went to place my order some of the ones I wanted were gone. I did order (and already received) Francesco and Luciano. I haven't swatched them because I'm not sure if I want to keep them. I didn't realize that the colors were swatched on models on the TF website when I placed my order and I'm not sure these were/are the right colors for me. Anyway, thanks to whoever posted the link w the shade descriptions and listing of existing shades. I'm going to try and ordér a few different shades from Nordstrom, Sorry for the long post.

Ok ladies here's what Stavros looks like on my skintone (I'm YSL BD-50 which I think is around a Mac NC30 or 40 but I don't wear Mac so I'm not sure on that)

I may be in the minority here, but I am not feeling Stavros. It's an easy skip for me.

In the midst of all the swatches, and waiting my wednesday delivery... I miiiight have ran out to saks and picked up spanish pink. :haha: its beautiful!!

No this one is definitely metallic and not a glitter bomb thank goodness. I think that's what surprised me - truth in advertising in this case! It's a great formula and very unique so I don't want to put anyone off it. I just look dead today so it looked especially shocking when I dabbed it on. I'll try to do a lip swatch tomorrow. It could be Omar though. Not sure.

I just go my lippies with my Fallen Angel pallette. Happy I only had to sign for both once. I took pics comparing the full size, the boys lippie and the sample one.

Is not that much bigger than the sample size.

I'm waiting for swatches before I order any as well. It's so hard judging what you think you would like from a bad photo or an internet version of the bullets. If you don't end up liking them, maybe you can sell them to a friend or here in the clearance bin. The 2 colours you have were on my list so hopefully they are nice.
