Agreed. I had a fraudulent charge on my cc once for only $25. Called the bank to dispute it and the CS rep was combative. He asked if I called the phone number listed under the charge and I was so happy to tell him "It's missing a digit." Smooth sailing after that!
The nerve! My response would have been, "How about you call them and get back to me."

I posted this in another thread but I feel compelled to post it in this thread because we all make so many purchases from Sephora.

Ladies, tis the season---to watch your bank accounts and credit cards. Someone helped themselves to items from Sephora, on my dime.
I spent the better part of the morning on the phone with my bank, canceling cards and getting new ones.

I thought about the massive systems problems we experienced w/Sephora during the sales, and I have to believe they are as hackable as any other
merchant.
So sorry to hear about this. Glad you were able to get everything taken care of with your bank. I've had to deal with this situation once and it was not pleasant.

Sorry that happened to you Meddy. I've had a few accounts (1 corporate) hacked in the last year or so. Luckily, each card issuer has always notified me right away and they were small 'tester' charges - except for my corporate account - some 'charity' tried to put through a few huge charges.

Everyone, I need your opinions for my makeup woes. I got my $15 BI code (expires Sunday-I also got one from Beauty.com) but I can't decide if I should get Nars' Light Reflecting pressed powder or not. I bought Hourglass' AL powder in Diffused Light and everyone who has both has been saying that while they're not dupes, they are very similar. Would it be redundant to get the Nars? Is it really that great? Is it different enough to justify owning both? I'm not very wowed by Diffused Light, I see sparkle on my face more than anything. It's not a bad powder. I still use it to not look so matte, but it's not HG for me so I don't want to own another powder that looks the same. I'm open to suggestions from drugstore to high end. I just want to find something that will make me look immaculate LOL

Hourglass Ambient powders are finishing powders.

Nars Light Reflecting powders are setting powders.

They allegedly function different. I have dry skin and can easily set my face with the hourglass powders, even if they are marketed as finishing powders.

I personally love both products and use both equally.

I will say that I prefer the LOOSE Nars reflecting powder over the pressed. ( I have both ).. JMO.

What type of skin do you have--- dry, combo, oily?

I bought it last week. It didn't ship until this week and I haven't been able to pick it up yet. It will be Saturday before I get it but can't wait to try it out!

Thanks Yazmin!!! The thieves are pretty diligent!!! I'm assuming that was a bogus charity!!!

Question on earning VIB/Rouge...I spent $54 last week on sephora.com but only paid $29 due to using the reward card. Sephora counted this purchase as $54 towards earning Rouge again for 2015. Tonight, I went to SiJCP and spent $54 again and used the reward card so I only paid $29 again. This time, I was credited $29 towards earning Rouge vs the $54 from my online order. Anyone else get credited different amounts like this towards earning VIB or Rouge? I am not going to complain because I was able to "double dip" with the rewards card, but I'm just curious as to why it would credit differently?

It's probably JCP's stupid system. Oh, how I hate it! The system and the associates never seem to get it right. I realized that some of the sales rep weren't even using my Sephora account after I went through the trouble of spelling out my email and everything. The manager had the nerve to tell me maybe they couldn't find me in the system. Umm...couldn't they mention that so I could spell it again for them? Smh

I've already re-qualified for VIB Rouge so I'm not worried about that, but it sure would be nice to get the points that I've earned...even though I haven't found anything I like enough to redeem my points on lately.

This question is for everyone... in what order do you wear your powders?

Foundation, setting, finishing?

Liquid, pressed powder, setting powder, finishing?
