Ian was one I was considering getting on the 26th but I have hardly seen anything about it. I was afraid Flynn might be too pink for me after seeing the Beauty Professor's swatch on IG. Is Ian really too sheer you think? How is the formula?
Yes, I agree. I've never finished a lippie in my life with the heavy rotation I have, but I think I'm keeping a backup of Gustavo and Guillermo! I'm thinking they look like they'll be gone in no time.

And now here they are online at Nordies. I feel I've been befuddled out of my boxes! Of course it's just a box but you know I love my pretty things and that box makes for such a lovely presentation :sigh:
I'm so glad I picked him up! Being new to Tom Ford, I totally missed out on Slander-- which I believe Alejandro is the Repromote of. I want to back up Alejandro badly, but figured it would likely be a better deal to see if I could locate Slander in the full size. I am now on the hunt!

Yeah, I have a(n ever increasing) pre-sell order with an SA who I feel I can trust (he was the one who let me know about the Lips and Boys collection before I ever saw any news of it anywhere, but I wanted to order online since I can use Ebates, and not pay tax if I order from BG.com
I just got a delayed notice from Neimans on my Julian pre-order saying they accepted more orders than they can fulfill and asking me whether I want to cancel, accept a delay until Feb 7, or accept an indefinite delay. GrrrrrrJulian seems to be a tough one to find. I ordered it on Dec 1 from Nordies and it's been backordered. No expected ship date - just says "Delayed".
February 7th?! Wow. Initially Nordstrom gave me an expected ship date of 12/19 but now it just says "delayed". I was assuming worst case scenario it wouldn't ship until these were re-released on 12/26 but I guess that's not the case!

I haven't tested Ian on my lips, but it seems like it's super sheer according to T's swatches, and any pink will be negligible. It'll probably look like clear balm with some gold shimmer. And that's not worth $32; at least I should return it and get that backup of Julian, or another color (but which??).
Flynn is rather pale and muted on me, not as bright as it looks on Beauty Professor. Alexander was too blue-toned and neon on me, so I think Flynn was a much better fit. Addison I think is just a smidge darker, and I was debating swapping, but I probably can't if I've already tested it, but that's okay, I think I'll just try to make this paler pink work - it probably doesn't like as bad as I think, it's just I'm not used to wearing such pale shades.
Hard to say about Ian - we need more swatches LOL! Initially I thought I might go out of the box and try Alexander but now I don't think so. Especially if it's super bright - just too hard to wear on my skin tone.
