That's really scary! I am an archaeologist also and when I've worked on urban sites shoring is always required on trenches deeper than 3-4 feet for that very reason. Just last year in Montreal, an archaeologist was killed in a deep trench collapse, it was horrifying to hear. I am glad your mom is ok and hope that some more health and safety protocols can be enabled at her work site.Hi ladies! How are u all doing?
I had the roughest day yesterday, my mom got hurt at work. She's an urban archaeologist, and a slope of dirt fell on her in the city and trapped her legs. They had to dig her out :/
She's fine now, but I had to leave work and go see her in the city, and before that she was feeling sick so.. it's been a crazy couple of days.
I was also expecting a package from Germany (a muscle warming cream I love that isn't sold in the states and is so hard to get someone to sell/mail to me here) and the package made it ALL THE WAY TO MY TOWN, but not my house.... it says the address wasn't complete so was sent back fmlI am so sad.. and pissed
And then Sephora sends me an email that the cinema secrets brush cleanser is back in stock and when I clicked on the link it was sold out again ugh.. thanks sephora

She's usually a forensic one, but since we moved to NY, she's been doing work in the City instead.
It was some construction guy's mistake, he placed the slope at a 90 degree instead of 45, so it crumbled on top of her. She's been getting worse these past two days, her legs hurt more and more. She's gonna have to take a few days off :/ I feel so bad. I got her pizza tonight tho, and a muscle relaxant hahaha

In other more happy news, I went to the SiJCP I used to work at, got my free UD liner (if u didn't know they were having some free ones this weekend)
And I used my rewards card for the second time.
One of my old co workers wasn't allowed to use hers (for obvious reasons, they aren't allowed to stack coupons with their discount) and she didn't want anything from free standing, so I used her coupon too
I feel like a bandit hahah
So I used her's online last night, got the laura mercier contour palette on a total whim ! have u guys seen it! it has no reviews so I am assuming it's new. I hope it's worth it and I'm not my wasting the gift card haha...
Gosh I wish one of the perks of being beauty insider, would be to be an insider... for f*cks sake Sephora, I never know when things are new, I have to search through your website to find them on my own. Can you email me with updates? ugh!

I love her videos too... and love her dog, Max too.. lol. I watch all of her videos. I dont watch that many YTers/gurus anymore (too many sponsored / bs videos).. but I will always watch Crystal, emilynoel and tarababyz.. They seem to always be honest. and they are smart girls.. not ditzy like some..I love her swatch videos and her hauls! I don't think Tarte's website is still selling the Tartelette palette again. I know they ran it for a day and then it'll be back later but probably not until after the sale is gone
Thanks for the info on the Tarte palette.. It is still available on Sephoras website.. it is sooooo tempting.

Went to use my 20$ off and just couldn't find anything. But I totally forgot to swatch the mufe shadows! *smh* Swatched the first chocolate bar palette, but wasn't a must have. I ended up getting my nars eye primer. And tried tons of purfume. Was excited to try nirvana black, oh man was it horrible on me! Blah. After a crap ton of sprays later I ended up getting Tokyomilk #90. And for $35 I was happy!

What did u order from Germany..? It is hard to find a good muscle cream here, I usually use arnica but there are times I really need something stronger. *I think I remember u saying ur in the city, If you are, I used to grab cinema secrets at Ricky's & they also carry ben nye, nyx & dose of colors along with a bunch of other products I need or want lol..so I try not to go in there too much but hope it helps u.

If you still had your heart set on the nirvana set & it's still OOS online try the store if you have 1 nearby, I always see a few sets whenever I'm in some of the stores.
yay for being able to use a few coupons!! Let me know how u like the palette. *As for Sephora, I feel the same way, It sucks when u have to search the website to find new items & the whats new page has crap you've seen wks or months ago, lol.

I have the set already. Bought it without any discount.. but was hoping it would come back in stock online, because I have a $15 off $50 code someone gave me and I would like to get another. I have a code but not the actual coupon so it has to be used online --- if that makes sense...
I bought the 1.7oz during the VIB sale, but I feel like I use a ton of it.. I absolutely love the scent, but the staying power is a bit disappointing..

She didn't get a serious injury but she's beat up and bruised. She's getting a bunch of other medical exams today, I feel really bad for her. She's having a hard time walking.
It's the warming balsam with arnica, I have bought the american version and it sucks, not warming at all.
I found this german one super soothing and amazing.
Which one do you use? is it warming?
I'm not in the city a lot, I used to go for school. I signed up to go back to school in the Spring semester, so I should be closer to the stores haha

I use this thing called Traumeel, it doesn't warm (but who knows, maybe they made 1 that does now). I use it for sports injuries or when in pain but I'll definitely have to try what u have been using. Sometimes I use this thing called tigerbalm which is nice too but I hate the smell, it has a vicks kinda thing going on, lol. Whenever I find 1 that is really good, I'll let u know.
