I don't know which color compact to get. I'm an NC 35 in Mac so i'm pretty "neutral". I love the look of Dore but would it be too dark for me? I have the Crazy Paris compact and use that as more of a setting powder.....if only I can buy all of them lol

I stopped by my the Shoppers that gets all the Guerlain seasonal collections yesterday and the manager told me that this collection isn't hitting there for almost 2 weeks. She's promised to pull the Perles de Blush and the pressed Medium powder for me. Now I need to be strong enough to not pick them up anywhere else in the interim, since I have enough points to almost pay for both.

I'm at my winter palest now (perhaps NC22?) and the Medium pearls are perfect for me. The Clair are too pink, not too dark. I like the look of the Dore pressed powder; it reminds me a bit of my beloved Crazy Terracotta Healthy Glow powder. I'm going to try it out in store and see how it would look on me as a sheer glowy blush. The Crazy Terracotta is perfection.
Be strong!!! With the points it's well worth the wait!!!

Dore 04 in regular perles is dark for even me, NC 44. I also have 03 medium in regular perles, so I chose 03 Medium in the pressed/compact version.

I like that golden appearance   A little Dore goes a long way.  It became even darker as it sat on my face---almost as if it had oxidized like some foundations tend to do.    Great call!!!
Oh, Teint Dore lol

I think we don't because canada generally has an inferior selection of cosmetics to the us. Like, to access a brand like tom ford or shu uemura or chantecaille, I'd have to take a ferry(which is expensive in and of itself)

I may have to wait til I can get a chance to swatch it in store then. I do feel Medium will be too light for me though. I'm between NW43 and NW45 in MAC.

Hmm. That looks like a highlighter, no? Too much sheen to be used as an all over face powder. I went to her IG and even she says she's using it as a highlighter. I thought these were meant to be like the balls in pressed form but I'm getting the impression they may be better for accents on the face. I saw someone on Youtube with the dore balls and she used them as a warm blush and it was gorgeous. So I ordered the dore compact, assuming I would use them for that purpose or *maybe* very lightly over the whole face *if* it's not too much on me. Looking at #3 the only thing I think I could use that for is as a highlighter. How are you ladies planning on using them?

I feel the same way Ellas I would not use this all over only as a highlighter I was thinking the same thing it looks to have so much sheen its pretty but now I'm more coufused then ever about the compact I have the 03 balls and I use them today no sheen like this I love them

Hmm I do have the lightest shade, but for me, it works for the whole face. It could maybe be used as an extremely subtle highlighter for lighter skin tones, but even then I don't think that would be my preference. I think, at least from swatches, that 03 and 04 could probs be used as highlighters for all skin tones due to being significantly deeper. Also, one could just layer it up a ton to highlight.

Same here lol
LOL Ok I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something! It is confusing Glammy. I have the terracotta light sheer bronzing powder compact and I am wondering if it's similar. Some of the sections are quite shimmery and others are less so, some are darker and lighter bronze shades and some are pink. If you have a small enough brush, you can sort of pick and choose what colors of the compact you want to use and then target them to different areas of the face. I think that's how I was envisioning using Dore. I wonder if Claire is less glowy?

Is your shade as "glowy" as number 3, or is it more like a luminous veil that the balls give?

PS, ***beauty geek alert*** I actually emailed Guerlain CS about a week ago asking them for clarification about the compacts and how they would suggest pairing them with skin tones and nobody ever replied.
