Just received my blush balls. I'm disappointed with the packaging. It's a soft cardboard. The balls are tiny and the can is tiny too
Have you swatched them or tried them on???

That's surprising to me too, especially since the cardboard packaged météorites, Perles Du Paradis, although cardboard is very sturdy. You can't even tell that it'sI know!! I really like the blush but the packaging is far from sturdy!!
I'm curious to hear your impressions of medium! I'll let you know what I think of Dore as soon as there's a wee bit of light ;-) But you're right about finding solace in this weather - if it weren't for the rain, we'd forget to appreciate the sunMy worry too Ella, which is why I ordered medium. Dore will be on the horizon for me too though.
I hate this weather sometimes but boy is it great for reading and just lazing about!!!
Thats how i thought it would be too! I am okay with the size of the blush perles and the quantity since its a blush and its going to last forever even if it is smaller compared to meteorites. The packaging though could have been better. Well I like the blush so i will manageThat's good Peanut!!!

I will for sure Ella. I was just a tad fearful of the Dore compact because the Dore perles do darken me---a lot but I think I applied them with little too much enthusiasm.I'm curious to hear your impressions of medium! I think I'll manage too. Maybe they should have just pressed these, put them in a compact and called them a blush!Thats how i thought it would be too! Oh goodness no cliff sliding please!I will for sure Ella. I was just a tad fearful of the Dore compact because the Dore perles do darken me---a lot but I think I applied them with little too much enthusiasm.
It's supposed to be rainy like this again on Sunday but unseasonably warm.At least our homes aren't sliding off of cliffs, etc.
Sounds like a very good sign. I definitely use a brush that shows the product as a barometer of how much I;m using and also find that a single swirl of the brush aroundOh goodness no cliff sliding please! The weather this "winter" has been strange for sure.
And I understand using the balls with enthusiasmA light hand is probably advisable ;-) I'm anticipating I'm going to have to experiment with various brushes to get the effect I want. I don't have the perles to compare the compact to, but I'll just say the compact didn't scare me. So hopefully that's a good sign!
Absolutely. I'm going to start with the brush I use for my holiday perles which is a MUFE Precision Powder Brush 128. I find it gives a nice light application that is buildable with repeated application. It doesn't tend to pick up too much of any particular shade. I suppose if this compact proves to be something I can use as an all-over powder, I will have to find a more portable brush to carry with the compact for touch up. One step at a time ;-)Sounds like a very good sign. I definitely use a brush that shows the product as a barometer of how much I;m using and also find that a single swirl of the brush around
the canister is more than enough.

I'll await t he arrival of mine with more patience now.I love how it looks on my skin but just wasn't expecting with how it looks it's like a travel sized meteorites in a not so travel friendly container
Aw, these reports are bumming me out. I know that the ol' Blush G was one of the most brilliant Guerlain blushes in my book and it ran about the same price. Amazing packaging--cute storage for the brush, mirror, classic black outside.I love how it looks on my skin but just wasn't expecting with how it looks it's like a travel sized meteorites in a not so travel friendly container
my thoughts exactlyMeh…I've seen enough pics and reviews to know I'm going to skip the blush pearls.I'm drowning in blush as it is (don't tend to use any of mine more than 1-2 times a month since I cycle through them) and these just don't excite me enough. I think I'll wait and see what the summer collection has to offer. I absolutely adore their bronzers and bronzer/blush duos.
Back to 8% you say??I ordered the compact/clair/light this morning from NM. 8% ebates
Yep! plus I had that 10% offBack to 8% you say??
I ordered Baby Glow in the lightest shade from Nordstrom. I forgot ebates, etc. because I was completely panicked about getting TF stavros into my cart. I think I'll try to look at the pressed Meteorites in person, I'm hoping to get to the mall this week. I hope you love your clair!!! I'm going to get at least one of the compacts, I just want to see them in person first.I ordered the compact/clair/light this morning from NM. 8% ebates
