Aw, these reports are bumming me out. I know that the ol' Blush G was one of the most brilliant Guerlain blushes in my book and it ran about the same price. Amazing packaging--cute storage for the brush, mirror, classic black outside. I know that the Meteorites are hand-made, so they are expensive. But if a blush is
intended to last a long time then the packaging should too. A premium company like Guerlain, who expends considerable money on packaging, should get this. Would love to understand more about why they choose metal, versus "good cardboard", versus "uncoated cardboard" for ze ballzz. I know that the cherub imagery takes a certain kind of surface but …..
