Used the blush balls today for the first time. OK, so the packaging is subpar, but the blush...it's absolutely gorgeous!! Pigmented with a very soft glow and neutral enough for anyone to wear. I used Wayne Goss brush #2 to apply, and it worked great. I'm all happy again!! lol!

I ordered Baby Glow in the lightest shade from Nordstrom. I forgot ebates, etc. because I was completely panicked about getting TF stavros into my cart. I think I'll try to look at the pressed Meteorites in person, I'm hoping to get to the mall this week. I hope you love your clair!!! I'm going to get at least one of the compacts, I just want to see them in person first.

See, that's exactly why I forgot to use ebates. I'm going to be a a very nice mall tomorrow so I am going to see if they have the new collection. I have clair in ball form, so I think it will be fine. But, I would like to see how the next darker shade would look on me.

Aw, these reports are bumming me out. I know that the ol' Blush G was one of the most brilliant Guerlain blushes in my book and it ran about the same price. Amazing packaging--cute storage for the brush, mirror, classic black outside.

I know that the Meteorites are hand-made, so they are expensive. But if a blush is intended to last a long time then the packaging should too. A premium company like Guerlain, who expends considerable money on packaging, should get this. Would love to understand more about why they choose metal, versus "good cardboard", versus "uncoated cardboard" for ze ballzz. I know that the cherub imagery takes a certain kind of surface but …..

...but I'm still glad I ordered them and look forward to using them

So glad you're happy with the product, in spite of the packaging!

We're of the same mind--I'm thinking that there will be more than one that will work on me too (and for most women). I think because the lightest/medium ball version does, I am hopeful that the compact version will be similar. :)

Oh, don't mind my rant. I know that people will love these--believe me, Guerlain is one company that understands the beauty of texture and is an expert in beauty powders. I'm sure that the blush will be superb. I am secretly hoping they are as pretty as some of the finest Chanel blushes of yore--or maybe even better. Truthfully, I can't wait to hear your thoughts! :)

I took it as a gag photo. If Kanye were posting about Guerlain it would more likely be about JP Guerlain's use of the n-word than Météorites.

Oh I loved your rant---you expressed many of my exact thoughts. In this case at least, I wish Guerlain understood our need for sturdy, durable packaging.
