About ten years ago, I had such a bad experience returning an item to sephora without a receipt and was so outraged when they tried to say I was committing some sort of fraud (although could not provide any proof whatsoever), that I went in there with literally every item I had ever purchased from sephora and it was about $3000+ Some with receipts and some without and demanded that they refund me for everything back on to my credit card or I would be notifying the news stations and paper about how they were treating me. The salesperson who had made these accusations quickly called the manager who in turn attempted to remedy the problem by claiming the employee was new (yeah, whatever) and how if I took everything back (as I dumped it all on their counter), that they would give me a free $300 gift card to spend in the store. I said no thank you, I don't wish to spend my money at a place that will make me feel like I stole something just because I misplaced my receipt. They pulled my record through email and saw I spent thousands in their store. Reluctantly after I wouldn't back down from wanting my money back for all previous purchases, they spent half an hour looking up UPC codes and prices and refunded all my makeup purchases back on to my credit card. Needless to say, I didn't shop there again for over 5 years. Anyone else out there go to the extreme of returning due to horrific customer service? Obviously with all the stuff I brought back, they realized I had been a loyal customer for years -- just not anymore.
I love that you did this. I'm the type to send letters by snail mail to corporate offices and the BBB. I don't take disrespect too well.

I don't take disrespect well either...especially after spending thousands in their store and online. It drew quite a crowd especially when I emptied my box and demanded a full refund to credit card and not store credit.

It's freezing out and I'm sitting here after spending a ton this morning in the lilly Pulitzer sale trying to decide what to buy to get my birthday perk lol. I'm thinking maybe the naked 2, or a few blushes. $50 min sucks lol

My sister was a cop and they really didn't want me going to the paper and letting everyone know how they were treating a very loyal customer. ;) Some items were 2 yrs old and half empty!!! Trust me, I was relentless in getting a full refund for all the money I has spent at their store. I demand respect especially after accusing me of unfounded "fraud".

I just saw online that they have the Margiela fragrances in rollerballs now! Well, one of them at least - of course it happens to be the only scent from that line that I don't like!

Hopefully they bring out more, I adore rollerballs.

is there anything you need? Have you tried the audacious lippies yet? The MUFE Shadows? Interested in TF Semisweet palette?

I agree. I only purchase fragrances in rollerballs. For my needs they are perfect. I get the variety I like without all the waste. I can't remember the last time I finished a full sized bottle of anything.

Love the way you handled the situation!

I've been eyeing that new Formula X kit. The striped bag looks so cute.

I convinced myself that I don't need the cheek trio. Don't make me look at it again. I couldn't find the Marsala lipstick in stock anywhere so I just ordered it. Which Fashion Fair blush do you love? I've been eyeing a few myself.
I gave up on finding the lipstick in-store and will probably just order online too. The fashion fair blush I lovei s called "Chocolate Chip". It's brown with a reddish/brick sort of undertone.

I was going to go to Sephora today to get my Nars B'day gift and a new Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil, but I saw that snow falling and I was like . I ran to the bank and came right back. I'm not up for this. Online ordering, it is. There's a new Chloe fragrance I'm dying to try, too but it's not in stores yet. I'd hate to order it and not like it so I probably have to wait. :(

Bag talk! Like @Medgal07, I'm on a handbag moratorium. I've got a bunch of Coach bags and Dooneys. Love a Dooney, especially the key thing they have inside. I have a Furla I got from Dakar, and some random one-of-a-kind bags from some leathersmiths in Florence. I love the smell of leather. Yummy.
Ohh bag talk

Love me a good bag talk. I'm addicted to Coach bags , I have a few D&B's but mostly Coach. I've wanted a Furla Candy bag but can't seem to bring myself to get it being I don't know where I'd carry her to.

I've also started doing this and just housing them in lipstick organizers. Purchasing a full bottle will never get used and I like to switch it up a bit. Plus it's more convenient to carry to and fro when it's compact like a rollerball.

Hell, I've been through 4 bottles of Flowerbomb, one of Nirvana Black and two of Coco Mademoiselle and Dior Hypnotic Poison. I go all in on fragrances because there aren't many that I love. I feel like I can't get anything out of that damn rollerball.
