I swatched the marsala lipstick in store. I was going to order it online since it was sold out. When i got home i swatched MAC taupe side by side and it's a dupe. Money saved. Still contemplating the eye palette.
Thanks. I already have a Rikugen mini. I can't remember if I got it from Sephora or Nordstrom. An additional mini larger than life eyeliner.
I have both and they are very similar. I totally agree with you. I actually prefer Taupe more because it is a bit darker. I can't wait to get mine. I may grab it tomorrow. by the way.Picked up mynars gift yesterday. I owned Cruella but not the other one. What a fab travel set.
Haha right I think he just wanted me to hurry up and leave hahaCan our boyfriends hang out? I think yours would be a great influence on mine. :bigstar: haha
The Champs store is actually a lot cheaper than in the states. I saved a shit ton of money on my bag when I bought it there. The button only tracks your use if you click on it. Most times I just ignore it and won't click it until I'm actually ready to purchase. It can be a bit annoying having the banner flashing at the top of your page but it's a really helpful reminder.
I'm like that too. I always look for the most original style. I hate seeing people with the same stuff I have - unless it's makeup lol. I've been dying to get a Chloe bag! They are so gorgeous.
I visited the LV store in Paris in summer 2013 and was like OMG, these prices are obscene looooll. I have to apply an exchange rate for the US dollar too (2 to 1) so I was like, NEXT! I will get one some day though because they are gorgeous and a good investment. We have an LV store here where you can get stuff duty free so that's most likely where I would make my purchase.
Aww that sounds like such a romantic wedding getaway. Paris is such a beautiful romantic place, especially at night. You must do one of the late night dinner cruises on the River Seine if you can. I highly recommend it!
I second that! In Europe they have the VAT (value added tax?) included in their prices but if you're not a citizen of a European country you can fill in an application for a refund. My Galliera PM cost me about 300 dollars less when I bought it in Paris compared to here. Even with the ridiculously high exchange rate. That was about 6 years ago though so I'm not sure if it's still that way.Vintage is always a good thing
When I'm traveling and taking public transportation I usually wear my speedy b so I can wear it as a cross body.
I'm plus size too so the bigger the bag the better
The EPI leather is classic! I have to say that my favorite LV is my Alma Vernis Amarante GM.. it's HELLA flashy but that's what I love about it
I'm very excited!! I'm getting nervous now that it's finally getting closer. I can't wait to share my wedding dress with you all.

Yep, I have that. Its fairly good, but the rose scent at first is a bit overwhelming. It does kind of go away after awhile.I made an order last night pretty much solely to get the nars birthday gift, haha (my birthday was Dec 12). I grabbed the Dior Creme de Rose lipbalm, which I was probably gonna pick up anyway, so I may as well get something extra with it! Has anyone tried the lipbalm before?
The savings margin is not that wide now since the euro is so much stronger than before (at least it was when I went just over a year ago) but I can imagine that the savings are still better. Where I'm from the VAT is already included too but I have to calculate a higher exchange rate. I didn't clock that France did the VAT refunds too, though. I've done them in the UK before. They're such a hassle to do but if you're doing a big purchase, it's definitely worth the hassle. Thanks for the reminder!I second that! We're gonna have to get you to try a new bag a day with our lippie a day challenge lol.I used a bag last night that hasn't seen the light of day in years---A Coach gray suede bucket bag---so chic with my outfit. Hubs says, "is that a new bag?" We're married 14 years and I had never used this bag in all of that time. So I've been digging a little more---found the cutest little rich chocolate brown Coach bag that's round like a canteen. It's like having new bags all over again.
My fav LV is my red Epi Leather Saint Jaques---it's huge and I still get compliments whenever I carry it. I don't think they make it in this size anymore. I also got the red Epi Eclipse backpack and clutch.
Oh I can't wait to see your dress and pics of the sites on your honeymoon. You must be beside yourself, totally over the moon!!!!!!
Big belly laugh Shars. We're gonna have to get you to try a new bag a day with our lippie a day challenge lol.
That's why I found it a better value to purchase my LVs there, because of the VAT refund. It makes it more than worth it!I second that! Nice try!Can I get my Bday gift in January if my bday is 2/16? LOL
Nice! I want to get myself a nice luxury purchase for my 30th next year so may consider that if I end up in Europe. I'm supposed to going to Brazil for the Olympics though so we'll see lol. That's why I found it a better value to purchase my LVs there, because of the VAT refund. It makes it more than worth it!
