so dmn I got my bday gift to self extra early!! way to go for super fast shippin Sephora lol. i'll be dippin into that kvd contour palette and I went TO the Sephora store yesterday n picked up those new lip stains: peach tar, mandarin muse, African violet and polished purple!! :clapping: these are MUST HAVES to pick up!! I actually wanna go back and get the marvelous mauve and blackberry sorbet. I think these are perfect enhancements to ensure stayin power under ur favorite lippies!! African violet reminds me of mac up the amp tho!! I've been a fan of these since they first came out and im surprised they'd discontinue some of their old ones like nude beige but im sure u can check around n they should still have the discontinued ones left in the draws below (I always double check those draws lol)
They are so boss aren't they! I grabbed the coral crush and marvelous mauve to try and have no complaints. They smell damn good too almost like the velvetines! Vanilla cake batter goodness

Did you get your ABH ones yet and do you like em?
I did receive the two I ordered, and overall I like them. I only tried one so far (Baby Pink) but I'm going to try to other today (Bloodline). They definitely stay put, which is great! Pressed my lips to the back of my hand to test it and NO transfer. It doesn't feel too dry, but it does look dry on my lips. You can see every line in my lips. This might just be an issue with the lighter colors though. I know Norvina said some of the lighter colors require chapstick, but Baby Pink wasn't on that list, so I wasn't expecting it to look as dry as it did. If you're looking for color that lasts, I would recommend the ABH (at least so far), but if you have a problem with it looking dry, I'm not sure you'll be happy with them.

Trust me, the grass is always greener! I like my lips to look a little glossy, but they can never keep that look for more than an hour. This is why MAC's Retro Mattes are usually a problem for me, even with prepping (though a couple of shades work out, for some reason). Even the NARS Audacious lippies with their "creamy wear" don't stay creamy-looking on my lips. The girls at NARS are even shocked when I tell them what lipstick I'm wearing because it looks so matte. Still love that formula though, and now I want need to stop by Sephora today to do some serious swatching of their liquid lippies. Might even buy one today, but I'll probably wait and order online since I've heard too many horror stories about people opening the products they've bought from that particular Sephora and discovering that the product looks used. BLECH!!!

I got the mauve one delivered yesterday, love it! It did transfer tho, I'll try it again later. I actually like the mauve one better than Patina haha! The lipstains come sealed babe! nothing to worry about just make sure the one u buy is sealed too!
Woah quote went weird on me, but I do like the mauve more too! I hate the applicator on Stila's liquid lipsticks- which is why I haven't grabbed any more of them and the formula is thicker to me. Cant stand how messy they are!

Yea I don't love the Stila liquid lippies, they are too thick for my taste too.
Also I remember once I wore Beso at an event at Sephora and that thing ended up all over my face. Transfer madness.

I had that one ages ago. They discontinued so many of the great shades.
I only just realised that I own the old 04 shade. It was one of the two in the Black Friday $10 deal. It is soooo pretty. I'm sad that I didn't buy 2 now had I known it's now an enigma. At least anyone else that might have grabbed the Black Friday Sephora Lip Stain deal will have a chance at that pretty boy.

Try YSL Glossy Stains! They wear for 6+ hours on me and can withstand mild drinking/eating without losing their glossiness or opacity.

Really? Good to know! I just got my first two YSL lipsticks about a month ago, but I didn't try the glossy stains. Guess I should pick one of those up too! Thanks for the tip

I just realized this when I went and did my swatches yesterday!! That's really great...too many products come in boxes that are easy to open, tamper with, and put back on the shelf. Not that I think most people would do such a thing, but you know, we have talked about people who eat makeup sooooo yeah, lol. Did my swatches and I think I've come to final decision on which colors to get now that I've slept on it (trying to stop impulse buying), so sometime in the next couple of days I will go pick them up!
