Wow. I wished I had makeup at the age of 9, instead of waiting until the ripe old age of 14
Well, she's in comp. dance and she loves makeup, so I buy her all the pretty things. We mostly play dress-up at home but I always do her makeup for comp. and she is allowed to wear clear mascara and lipgloss to school. She's girly and I love that.

Me too! Lol and barbies and cars.
Yep, so was I but times have changed! All her little 9 year old friends and her would cringe if I bought them Barbie's….they want my Barbie Loves MAC collection though! I bought her a faux fur vest and MAC for Christmas this year; girlfriend is 9 going on 29!

Aww I used to dance, I loved getting to have my hair and makeup done!! Besides that I didn't wear makeup until I was 13... I was a little punk and going to warped tour so obviously eyeliner happened. It all went downhill for my bank account from here...

Haha, truth! Her dance is crazy now…I do full face on her with human hair eyelashes, the works! It looks amazing on stage though.

I feel you on the punk scene. My first long term bf was in an NYC punk band. When I lived there we used to hang out on the steps of Trash&Vaudeville like some cool kids, LOL!

P.S. Eyeliner always "happens" in life, doesn't it? And it should!

I was always scared of using eyeliner, when I was younger. Especially on the waterline, because of the fear of poling myself in the eyes and having messed up wings

Lol, don't feel bad I only started putting on makeup (and it was sporadic!) when I was 19. But that was when I had amazing radiant almost-flawless skin (compared to now :p haha) no matter what I eat or how late I slept my skin always looked so good so I never really thought about putting any sort of makeup on. When I needed to, I had professional makeup done for balls, debuts and other formal. It always felt gross afterwards, like the makeup suffocated my face and it felt heavy by the end of the night. That's mainly what put me off about makeup all those years. It's amazing what I know now about makeup thanks to our resident specktra Pro MUAs and advisers.

My skin was dreadful when I was a teenager. The worse breakout I ever had was when I was 12 going on 13. I still have breakouts now (bearing in mInd I will be 30 in a month's time). I tend not to go overboard with foundation, primer etc because of the breakouts

I'm with you on the whole breakouts thing! My skin is so sensitive and it use to be horrible when I was a teenager now in left with ice pick scars and only get a couple of small break outs that go away when I treat them

What time does it normally go on sale online? I figure going to be hugely popular and I have quite a few things I want to get :)

And how much do they typically make available online? I am thinking both powders, one lippie, maybe both and one maybe both lipglasses.

Thankfully the eyeshadows are almost all permanents. of course Phloop is my go to eyeshadow and like Satin Taupe but don't have to get the set. Doesn't feel princessy enough to justify. But I want to hold the compacts!

There is no specific time. It varies by collection. Usually for very popular collections, items sell out fairly quickly within the first hour...sometimes even 15 min in to the launch.
