MAC X Cinderella Collection (March 5, 2015)

The taupe one is the sheerest of the 4 that already came out. The other three are so dense with shimmer and pigment that any color underneath isn't going to really read clearly, it'll just give an undertone to the gloss color on top. I like the combo of the pale green from the SS 15 eye trend palette under the white eye gloss. I've been meaning to try Clearwater paint pot under the taupe - I think that'd be hot with sheer lipgloss or a pale pink lipstick on the lips. I checked them on Sephora online just now and they're on sale for $5.00. You should stock up! Usually you only get just so many wears out of a pair of false lashes before there's too much glue buildup or they're just unsanitary, so keep that in mind. I think they say 3-5 wears per pair MAX, but I bet someone else can speak to that better than I can.

It depends on the style and the band, but i can get an average of 10 uses out of my lashes. There shouldn't be any glue buildup at all, as you should be removing all the old glue before applying the new glue before the next wear. And as long as you aren't applying mascara to the false lashes, you can extend the number of uses you get. I never apply mascara to false lashes (on myself or clients), so that's why i can get so many uses out of them.

I didn't notice they were on sale! Huh, I was charged full price at Sephora today. I just might have to stock up, these are an instant love!

The only ones on sale for $5 are Paparazzi and Cabaret. Day is still $10.

Well, you look very fresh and lovely! The trend is more heavy on texture without a lot of extra color and you can totally pull that off. Live it up!!!!

I'm feeling the same, I got so excited about MAC doing a Cinderella collection but nothing's catching my eye, I think all the other collections seem more appealing.

I wanted to get Pretty Me Up and Evil Stepmother, but I just can't be arsed. To be honest with you guys, I really cannot see this collection being a big hit. As I explained to my stepmother (she's not evil, so it's all good), I just want to concentrate on BBW and MIB. MIB will be my biggest MAC haul, along with the Treacy collection. Then I can go back to saving up for a new laptop and a holiday... And resume work on my sleeve

Im still excited, I think the collection hits cinderella spot on. Very youthful and light. If you already have the colors in the palette in perm form and don't like kind of barely there items then I can see where this would be disappointing. I don't really think they could have done much else, its not like cinderella is edgy or had these big bursts of bright colors. Im looking forward to some minimal fresh looks for spring, and just something to throw on my lips to give a bit of color with a lightweight feel. I don't know maybe I'm tired of thick heavy lipsticks, maybe its the weather, lustres make me think warm and carefree lol

Just Royal Ball and Mystery Princess for me! Mostly for collector's reason honestly. I thought about picking up Coupe D'Chic as well but it looks like it is probably too warm and too glittery for me. My sister changed her mind and wants nothing but I might pick her up a lipglass anyway just in case she changes her mind again like she did when I got her stuff from Alluring Aquatic.
