Hi Macao twin!!! I would say Mountain is a better match for our complexion than Beach... I could be wrong but Beach looks as if it would make us a bit ashy

I love this foundation n in my experience it's a better idea to use my fingers to apply and blend as it dries rather quickly... It's super concentrated so a lil goes a long way... I find that I use way more Sheer Glow than this one to get the coverage I need... The Nars Pro-Prime Oil-Free Pore Refining Primer also works excellent with foundation and will give a velvety smooth finish to ur skin ️️️

Hi girls, first I'll do a review then post swatches of all the colours of the all day luminous foundation they carry in Hong Kong (only goes up to medium dark 1). I was skeptical about this foundation and first since I never liked nars foundation. Ok, the pros first: the packaging is gorgeous and comes with a pump. It is high coverage but doesn't feel Cakey or heavy. Need one drop for the whole face. Looks like skin, not flat. Also long wearing Cons: any skin type would like it, BUT those with textured skin or flaking skin or dry patches please steer clear!!! It's long wearing so it clings to the skin, which enhances textured skin and accentuates your dry patches. It did go into the huge pores on my nose too. Dry skin needs to moisturizer heavily beforehand as well. Ok, here are the swatches. L stands for light, M for medium, MD for medium dark

The Luminous foundation is nothing but LOVE. Wow! It literally feels like nothing is on my face. I used to use MAC's Studio Sculpt and would notice by the end of the day that my nose was greasy, not the case at all with this new foundation. Can't say enough good things about it!

Same! The girls at the NARS counter kept trying to tell me that I'm Cadiz, but I felt like it made me look too orange. I went with Tahoe. I might pick up Cadiz in the Summer when I get a little tanner.

How are you liking it so far? I love it! I could honestly pull of either shade but I went with Cadiz especially since summer is around the corner.

I love it!! I haven't touched any of my other foundations since I got this. It's everything I've been needing. I'm definitely getting Cadiz when it gets warmer!

I have been buffing this foundation in with a large duo fiber brush. Today, it was dirty as I accidentally passed up on it while cleaning my brushes. So, I tried my real techniques expert face brush. I needed an extra pump, but it turned out BEAUTIFUL! Also i primed my face with a little bit of moisturizer and dior pore minimizing primer!

Glad you're liking it now! I've tried my sample a couple of times, but I just don't think I can make it work. It's just too cakey and unblended looking on me...womp. But I'm glad people are making it work. Might try it with a new primer next.

I agree, no way you are cadiz now. I used to be cadiz but in this formula it is too dark for me. Well to orange.

Well, I'm sad to report that my initial love of the foundation has been tempered. It is so flawless, but even after carefully cleansing with all of my big guns it breaks me out. I haven't used it in at least 10 days and my face is almost back to normal. Sigh.
On the other hand, I'm in lust with Soft Velvet loose powder in Flesh. I've abandoned my Les Beiges and find that it's perfect for setting any foundation. It's HG status for me.
