MAC always destroys stuff that's return so it would've worked out better for them to let you keep it. I'm quite happy to receive extra samples of things haha.
Back over Christmas last year when UPS was just doing the most nonsense, we couldn't locate my Nordies 2 day shipping order. UPS had no record of ever receiving it and no tracking. Nordies shipped out a duplicate next day and both items showed up together. There was a gift bag you got for spending over $150 with loads of lovely deluxe sized samples. I advised them of the error and sent back the duplicate items but kept the two sample bags... They were "free" anyways lol.

Yep, I was really surprised when one time maybe 5 or so years ago I received an extra one of the holiday lipgloss sets (they had sent 2 identical shipments) and I called to tell them MAC sent me a return label and had it picked up!

That made me smile! That is AMAZING! This happened to my mom, to-be stepdad and I, quite a few years back... With not so happy results. My mom saved up many overtime checks to take me to Six Flags for my 16th birthday. She had her two credit cards and about $800 in the wallet. She accidentally left it on the trunk at the gas station, and an hour later she discovered it was missing. We turned around to go back, and SCOURED that gas station, and even the highway ramp going up to the turnpike. We asked the clerk and nobody had turned it in. My poor mom cried the rest of the way to Six Flags. She felt horrible. My step dad felt so bad that he gave her $800 from his personal savings so we could still go. This was before they were married or even considering marriage and before sharing their assets.
I've found a credit card on the floor of my complex and looked the girl up on facebook and told her I left it with our front desk. I even took pictures so that way if the desk people were shady about it... she knew exactly who to go after!
But your story is seriously heart-warming!!!!!!

Exactly, I do the same.Maybe they would send you a label & then charge you $7.50 anyway. I watch them like a hawk because most times one hand has no idea what they other hand just emailed you or told you on the phone.

I was quite happy, too, even though I have to pay to receive my packages because I then had a chance to give it to my friend :-D If they would have asked me to return it I would have had to pay to ship it from outside of the US but I felt I absolutely had to contact them either way.

not play yet with the makeup but from the looks of things I loveeee it all just by looking at it I will play at some point I'm not in a rush because I have soooooo many other items I have not used But I will post thought when I finally do happy u love the tote too its sooooooo cute its a great freebie

Oh how awful for your mom but so sweet that your step dad made good on her loss. I hate losing anything and I obsess about it, but that was a big loss for your mom. Hubs and I were prepared to loose the money. He was just anxious to get his driver's license back because he had an important business trip coming up and had reserved a rental car and needed his license to get the car and drive to the meeting location. My Raw Jade arrived today from Nordies in an envelop. How odd that they would send the duo in an envelop and the 3 little samples in a box
Thankfully, the duo was in tact. I ordered Ripe Plum before I ordered Raw Jade and that's scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I'm impressed with the color and I'm glad it's more olive than emerald.
It was quite the day today because I also got my Chanel & Sephora orders.
