Have you swiped it with the sponge applicator? That might help/ Since it seems to have a moire silk pattern embossed on top. Which might be why the brush is picking up the product unevenly. The pattern was gone after one use. I hope this works out for you. It is lovely duo.
Hi thank you for the advise I was actually thinking that but wanted it kept clean But if it's better using that till I can afford a tf brush then that's cool I can't explain what it's like I'm a dim wit :( I can never explain flaming nowt I get do upset with myself I find it hard to describe pains when talking with me hubby or doctor Gees :( After all that I swiped with a clean finger and I think it did ok on my hand But abit of the dust was on my hand ( had fall out of dust on my eyes underneath using the real tech brush and missing spaces ) it wasn't picking up evenly neither was my mac brush I bet I have a dud one Lol Because it can only happen to me boo hoo :(

I cannot explain

Definitely sounds like a matter of the right product but the wrong tool. I find the MAC 215 Shader brush is excellent for picking up eyeshadow and its' width
for me, it makes application faster and more efficient.

Not harsh at all, I totally agree.

I'm trying really hard to resist these, just because of the cost and i don't want to go down this rabbit hole... buuuuuut... lol
I know Pretty---it's a struggle. I was decidedly against getting these-----you see how that turned out!!!

I had fall out with all 3 duos, nothing huge, just took my fluffiest brush and lightly brush away and all is fine.

I've had to catch up! Reading everyone's posts on getting their duo's makes me want to play with mine again, but I'm also doing a red lipstick challenge, and I don't think Raw Jade or Ripe Plum (the blue one is slated to arrive today) will look fantastic with red lipstick.... One more day of this... one more day! Then I can play with all the pretty duo's!

I just used my TF liquid liner....you need this in your life. It just glides on and winged liner is so easy with this. I think I'm in love

I think you just need to really work either the sponge applicator/flat top brush aka 239 into the shadow. I have his quad in seductive rose and you have to grind that brush in there. It doesn't take away from the beauty of his products,to me the end result it's always gorgeous. Pigmentation doesn't always determine a great product.

Tried it with the sponge app and the small brush end was naff with the brush too but was ok with sponge app I suppose :( I find it blended more with the other colour over the top that not the point though Anyhows my eyes are sore where been wiping make up off :( So will try again tomorw It's just the dark colour that's a pain in the butt and that I have issue with it The other colour swipes fine :)))) I'm so gutted I don't even think if I had a tomford brush it would work You know when mac has a shitty film over it That's like my tf dark colour I swear it is Anyhows will try Tomorow again :(

Feel awful to complain to you ladies but I swear no one else is having troubles with the colour :( it blends well when put the other colour over it Omg then when you put the light from the mirror near the eye you get this pinky type colour going through it I can't explain that either lol

I just tried mine with 239 and I can see why you would be disappointed! A few days ago I used the light shade with 239 over base and the dark one with a pencil brush and I had no problems with pigmentation! I also used the dark colour with a wet brush as eyeliner and it looked amazing.

I used Raw Jade today w/surprisingly no fall-out. I attribute that to the brush that I used. You were right---I'm loving it.

Well the thing is I'm just used to normal mac and my too faced pallettes and naked pallettes that are less than this duo and omg the colours I don't have any probs with So I don't know either Shall I clean it with alcholol spray stuff It's just a film that don't want to pick up exessive colour that's all I tell you what else it's like those shite hearts from make up revolution no pigmentation at all :(
