This one's for you Kiki!!! I waited until I had all of the items from this Dolce & Gabbana collection before swatching, so here you go. This photo, taken in natural sunlight captures the blush exactly as it is in person:

1 Lip gloss
2 Lipstick
3 Blush
4 Black e/s
5 Cream/Bisque e/s
6 Yellow e/s
7 Pinked Red e/s

OMG... Stop it y'all just stop.. this damn thread... I think I just figured out what to use my Gift card on... but still think I want to wait. LOL These are beautiful!
I went to Sephora today and that lust for the MUFE contour duo died. The highlight is gorgeous, but that contour is a bronzer. Fine, but it's a weak bronzer color. It's way too light and leans a little too...orange(?) for my taste. Sad. I played with the primers and the radiant peach didn't seem to make much of a difference on my skin as far as added radiance and the deepest primer was too dark. It would change the color of my foundation. I just went over and got a formula x polish in Revved Up. It's rose gold.

I also got my beloved Addicted to Speed topcoat by Deborah Lippmann.
I thought it was too orange.. but everyone was loving it.

Like I said, I seem to fall between shades where the peach is too light and the caramel too dark. Boo!

I want to mention that since Benefit has that new mascara out I noticed the Sephora employees were wearing these really cute pink Benefit aprons. I want one! I should've asked if I could have one if I purchased that damn mascara.
lol.gif
I've gone down a dress size since starting my diet a month ago and I think the apron would look super cute on me. I don't cook, but who the hell cares?

How is the bronzer?

I'm intrigued, but are these gray enough for contour? I'd probably do the dark one too. I'm Sooooo lost... y'all slow down. #toomanyproducts #sephorathreadssuck

whoa whoa whoa... what is this magical stuff? I have Wesley Snipes dark circles too. (is that bad of us to say? )

Add me to the list of ppl loving the MJ contour duo. For fair cool toned ladies - 20's bronzer shade is soo nice. It's a rosey bronzer shade that I imagine could sort of work like a neutral blush shade. For Fair/light people looking for a true contour - 40's bronzer shade is quite a cool tone, so it would work nice as a contour, less so as a bronzer.

I like it a lot, but it has such little product in it -- only .05oz . I am on my second one.. I might try Benefits Erase Paste next.. anyone use that? EmilyNoel83 always talks about it as a good corrector.. and it has triple the product in it. (.15oz)..

I LOVE THIS! how does it wear? stunning! heard good things about DG blushes, i think tan is a popular one! this is everything, wow! i can't start in on another m/u line........do not enable me, i beg you! (not like you need to as picture had me about to order from S, eeekkkkkk!)
You can skip certain D&G products easily (bronzer, etc), so it's not another huge rabbit hole. BUT, everyone should probably own that blush.

I prefer the BB to the Erase Paste. The EP was too thick for my taste. Hard to move around on my dry under-eye skin.

Thank you. I won't even bother trying then.. I have dry skin so if it doesn't work well on dry skin, then it will not work well for me.

That helps, thanks. Hmmm, so is that why fair ladies are buying the 40? I'm not really into bronzers so now I'm not sure.

I have quite a few of their glitter polishes and about 2 or 3 cream ones and like 'em. Sephora inside JCP always has them on clearance for like $2.99. I grabbed a whole set from Sephora's sale page for $5 too.

I'm glad you posted this about the contour duo. I figured the "contour" would just be a bronzer for us but seems like I definitely will have to swatch for myself too. Sad about the primers too.
I do have my preferences Miss Shars

That must have been nail polish heaven! I LOVE the looks of the glitter polishes but they are a pain to remove!

I NEED that Rose Gold NP and I'd like to try the top coat!  :yaay: Just ordered both!    It really is, even more so than the lipstick.
That rose gold is to die for. I'm using it in a week or so. Right now I'm wearing one of the new blue shades from formula x. I hope you like the top coat. I've been through at least four bottles. I have no patience waiting forever for my nails to dry.
That's good to hear since this is my first brush with D & G beyond shoes, bags & sunglasses.
I love the shades they did with Monica Bellucci. I got almost all of those. They glide on, but aren't slick and they last all day. You just have to get used to the scent. It doesn't stink but it's strong at first.

I find a lot of the Sephora's inside JCP have treasure troves in their sale sections. I was able to get some LE Kat Von D stuff (palettes mostly) for less than half price. I always try to check. I got a few formula x polishes for 1.99 too. Glitter polishes are a pain to remove, aren't they! I have to try that sephora glitter remover thing they have.

It creases on me.. I usually have to go back in and try to spread it out more before i finish the rest of my makeup. I bought a tiny pot of it at ulta i think it was $10, one of the minis at the check out aisle. I only use it when my circles are really dark. I picked up the tartlettte palette thanks to miss dolly's swatches. I thought I had a lot of similar colors between the It coametics naturally pretty palette and the mattes in Lorac pro, but when I swatched all at home there is uniqueness to the Tarte palette. Yay! I played with the MUFE contour palettes in store too... Love the highlighters but agree they are really bronzers. Hourglass luminous light was looking so pretty today but I have their palette so I'm going to try and hold out until I hit pan on one of those colors! Since I love the sephora cream lip stains for their great staying power, I picked up Fig from their luster matte line. I don't know why they're calling it matte, it never dried down and was a smudgy, transferring mess even an hour after application. Ironically this one is $16 but the cream lip stain performs 100000% better and is $13. Moral of the story, avoid the luster mattes by sephora if you want a matte finish!
