Finally picked up my order! I only grabbed one of the eye shadow duos.... Canadian they were over 70$ which is a little crazy (what is this addiction we have?!?! Don't tell Hubby......). I picked up Ripe Plum and the SA was showing me how to get the most pigmentation out of it. She used their face primer... I would be worried it would ruin the eyeshadows but it did give a beautiful rich effect! She also showed me some of the upcoming collections which of course, I've already put on hold.... I'm going to use the duo today, i'm so excited!

Beautiful! And welcome.

The long post with lots of pics is much appreciated. @Medgal07 I am loving the look you did too! So far I am not faring as well with my plum duo. I'm not having any problems getting pigment, just finding that it is really accentuating the crepey-ness of my eyelids.

I'll have to play around with different primers and see if that makes any difference for me.

Another nice review of the Spring 2015 cream shadow:

Thanks much Winthrop. I often use a paint pot or cream shadow, and always with good results. I hope you resolve your eyelid issue.
I enjoyed Bubbly Michelle's review, and see that she too used a laying method w/Spring 2015. Her look was lovely! Thanks for sharing that.

Using less shadow solved my crepey problem with the plum duo. Otherwise that pink iridescence seemed to highlight it. I'm going to try your UDDP Anti-Aging Primer regardless because crepey-ness is a problem for me in general. I even have problems keeping eyeliner straight in one area on my right eye because of that ...it seems to take off into a tiny wrinkle no matter what I do and makes me look like I applied my eyeliner after 1 too many glasses of wine or something.

The UDPP, Anti-Aging is alleged to minimize the appearance of wrinkles in eight weeks. That had me at "anti-aging." The formula is lighter and creamier than
the original product and doesn't dry as quickly. I was a tad skeptical at first because I thought it was too creamy to provide a non-slip environment for eyeshadow but
it really does work for me. I hope you have a successful experience with it.

To get the more intense color I have found use a strong black mascara, let dry, then put on 2-3 coats of the color mascara letting each layer dry before you put on the next. If you want serious screaming color lashes try Dior It Mascara or the Chanel mascara from Summer 2013. Or even the MAC Toledo collection mascara.
Thanks for the tip on the mascara. I was thinking of wearing one of my Chanel colored mascaras but I really wanted to try the TF one today.

Blended out the crease with Mac uninterrupted and used the lighter color in the duo for highlight. Mac Star Wonder MSF. TF eyeliner pen on upper lashline. Chanel flower blush and LM Lychee Parfait lipstick. The look came out quite nice and daytime appropriate.

As for the cream eyeshadow. Did I post this yesterday??? I hope I'm not repeating myself. Well, I tried it on my lid before going to bed. The color is quite unique to my stash. I just don't know that I'm used to dark colors on the lid so I'm not sure how much I'll wear it, at least alone. How are people wearing this color?

I'm glad CI worked for you---the whole look sounds REALLY nice. I wore Spring 2015 again Saturday and I absolutely love. I apply a very small amount and then build
it to my desired intensity. I wore a little bit of MAC All Woman in the crease and sheered that out w/MAC Brains and Brawn and the the entire look was varying intensities
if grey. I've also worn it intense on the lid and then sheered throughout. I love it both ways.

Thanks Pretty!    I used the MAC 215, medium shader brush---it's dense, it grabs the product & the shape is great for applying    e/s the eyelid.    I had NO creasing whatsoever---love it.   Choose your brush carefully and prime your lids.  You'll be fine Glammy.
Tell me I'm wrong but for the eyeshadow duo being so expensive In my eyes you should be able to use any brush and primer or not :( For the price of it lol Where as buying a cheaper duo or palette from other high ends like dior have maybe better quality and sometimes doesn't require a special brush to be used or primer So why are these shadows abit funny :( I don't get it is still have mine not sure to send it back or not As if they don't find a fault with it it be returned back to me anyhows I hope everyone is enjoying there new goodies though :)

I'm so sorry you're having a hard time with your duo BC. It is pretty evident that certain brushes work better than others in picking up and aiding in the placement of
product. I use a primer regardless of the price point of the eye shadow that I'm using. It's just apart of my makeup routine. That said, makeup should be fun and not
cause the angst that you seem to be experiencing. Perhaps you should return it and find a more suitable product.

Chanel is releasing a super intense black mascara #90 I think with summer or the Blue Note collection. They had this several years ago, it is serious black. Of course literally one of my dogs thought it made a wonderful chew toy.....nope, he didn't get to the actual product, but his teeth marks rendered it unusable.

Yes, that is me with my goofy Newfies that are Landseer's. In the US they are grouped with Newfoundlands. In other countries they are a breed apart from the Newfie's. Have two more dogs, A Black Russian Terrier from Latvia, a insane Weimie, and my 2 Havana Brown cats. Posted my actual pic, since it has become too confusing with some newbies or it could oldies who were using the lips pic. My head is buried in my dogs, fur, I can't see any other lines of makeup!!!!!
