I was thinking Coeur Battant looked more magenta but I know Sephora's pics aren't always colour accurate.
You know I was happy dancing when I saw that they're different

I am loving the flash shipping! It lets me try so many samples that I wouldn't have been able to try. From my samples, I tried the new NARS foundation and the Boscia Peeling Gel, and I love them both! I ordered a full size of the gel this morning, along with Marc Jacobs Lip Creme in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I also got the Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser, the Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Rose Brown, and they're both amazing. I'm going to try holding off ordering anything else until Chic Week, but I may need to go for a full size of the NARS foundation soon

Disappointed in the MJ #instamarc. :( They swatched SO beautifully! But I couldn't purchase any. The contour shade on the lightest one is way too warm for me. It wouldn't be a good contour at all. However, the highlight of that shade was perfect. On the middle duo, (40, i think?) The contour was much cooler, and better... however, the yellow highlight made me look jaundiced.

I wish the lightest duo was cooler on the "bronze" color if they are marketed as contour duos. It's so hard to find a *cool* contour shade with all the latest "palettes" coming out. They're all too warm on my fair neutral / pink-ish skin!

Too bad I couldn't pick my own shades! The texture was to DIE for.

Somone mentioned this upthread but Dolce and Gabanna blush in tan is a great contour colour!

Yeah, I agree. LOVED the lighter shade. But I still loved the darker shade of bronze for some reason but yes not really a contour shade. I didn't care for the yellow in the 40 shade but the darker shade would be better for our skin tone as a contour.

I think the bronze in the lighter shade would be beautiful on us for a subtle warmth ;)

Thanks! My sephora has so few brands... and my only department store nearby is Dillards. I wish I could swatch in store! Maybe I will look online for more swatches and try ordering online! Sooo hard to find a true contour shade. I heard good things about mac sculpt but I'm not about to buy a whole Z-palette for one single pan. Wish they sold them in cases.

I'm in need of a moisturizer. I currently use Fresh lotus moisturizer. I'm thinking about switching to shiseido. I'm looking at the ibuki refining moisturizer & the white Lucent brightening moisturizer. Anyone use either of the two? Or have a recommendation?

thank you SO much! It looks lovely... and so does the burberry shade too! I'm not sure which of the two I'd prefer, actually!

you're welcome! I have and recommend both haha, the burberry makes a beautiful neutral blush shade and the texture is fantastic. But I would say for contouring - D&G is the way to go.
