I've had the same issue with DG. I think the only way we can pull of DG/LJ is by using a dark liner or by darkening it with another lippy. It would work with Rich Purple Chromagraphic pencil... EDIT: excuse the lack of makeup... It's sunday

Sloppy application BC I just threw it on but this is toying around on my top lip and Burmese on bottom --- this is on nc30ish skin or Stromboli in NARS sheer glow. On my skintone, there's little to no difference! Here's natural lighting too:

So very true. I was at the CCO at the Tanger Outlet in the National Harbor, MD at they had all three nail polishes from the Alluring Aquatics collection and the Archie Girls.

I've given it some thought, and I think I might skip Bao Bao’s Jewels.  It's beautiful, but I can't justify paying $44 when I only like the middle three shadows, and I'm almost sure I already have very similar colors in my stash.  Plus, it seems rather pricy when I compare it to other palettes in my collection.  Bao Bao’s Jewels - $44 for 0.14 oz. LORAC Pro Palette 1/2 - $42 for 0.32 oz. LORAC Unzipped Original/Gold - $42 for 0.58 oz. Urban Decay Naked 1/2/3 - $54 for 0.60 oz. I do still want Summer Opal, 2-3 lipsticks, and 2-3 polishes.  I just need to see Lavender Jade on NC30-35 and more n/p swatches.

I posted a pic of me wearing lj earlier in this thread, im an nc30/c4. I definitely want 2x lj and all the polishes, I just need to see sunset tourmaline and i'm good to go :eyelove: Here are some paper swatches of the lipsticks and summer opal. There was also some talk at our update that burmese kiss is ablaze relaunched with a different name, the working name was ablaze! Our trainer confirmed this!

How does lavender jade compare to dodgy girl? Dodgy girl was way too light for me I'm wondering if lavender kiss will be darker?

Lavender Jade looks like it would be lighter to me and that is saying a lot because DG is very light.

I think I will just go with FS... I initially wanted LJ and BK as well but after seeing they're really similar to DG and TA I think I can skip them.
