To get the more intense color I have found use a strong black mascara, let dry, then put on 2-3 coats of the color mascara letting each layer dry before you put on the next. If you want serious screaming color lashes try Dior It Mascara or the Chanel mascara from Summer 2013. Or even the MAC Toledo collection mascara.

Thank you for your suggestions. This is the first time when I tried colored mascara so I wasn’t sure what to expect color wise. I will try your method and see how it goes. No matter the results though I will still keep both mascaras because I really like the formula.

I finally ended up with what appeared to be a lovely look of carefully chosen well blended colors. In reality It was a frantic mix of grabbing different colors to layer, add, blend, or whatever to avoid looking like a bruised up discount hooker. The combo only took one Dior, one Guerlain, & 3 Chanel palettes & a few single e/s as well as about a dozen eye brushes to achieve. Wow, what an adventure! I am happy that you got it under control in the end, I bet you looked wonderful. Also look at the bright side, you got to use FIVE palettes and some other singles!

I always struggle to rotate my palettes and many of them remain neglected.

So glad you decided to join the party---WELCOME! Thank you for your welcome!:)

I'M glad you found a way to make Spring 2015 work for you. I'm wearing it again today & I love it. It's so chameleon-like. I use a synthetic brush with a VERY small amount of product and build it to
my desired intensity. Today it looks greenish-grey.

I couldn’t believe the difference between using a brush and using my fingers. I only have Platinum and Spring 2015 cream shadows but between them two, Spring 2015 is my favorite.

I didn't purchase the mascaras and I'm sorry they were such a disappointment.
I was expecting more color but I decided to keep them both since I like the formula.

This looks soooooooo Beautiful on you that I think I'm going to get it & I'm not really a blue es girl. Its just lovely!

Thanks so much for sharing! You're in the right place for gabbing about the love of makeup

I was so surprised by the blue duo. I didn’t try it wet yet but when used dry it’s very wearable. I was afraid that it was going to be too strong but fortunately that’s not the case. I think this is a good start to blue eye shadows.

I am not a blue/green girl type either. Actually this is the first year when I started to wear these colors and I will never go back!

Blended out the crease with Mac uninterrupted and used the lighter color in the duo for highlight. Mac Star Wonder MSF. TF eyeliner pen on upper lashline. Chanel flower blush and LM Lychee Parfait lipstick. The look came out quite nice and daytime appropriate.

Your look sounds lovely. Have you tried it wet yet? Haha, after reading your reply I went and tried it wet really quick only on one eye (it is almost 10 pm) and the color is so intense!

Nothing fancy here, no primer, and no blending. I just wet the brush with Mac Fix +. Make sure that your brush is not soaked though and when you apply don’t try to blend or swipe the wet color because it won’t work. Just gentle pat it on your eyelid and that will do it.

As for the cream eyeshadow. Did I post this yesterday??? I hope I'm not repeating myself. Well, I tried it on my lid before going to bed. The color is quite unique to my stash. I just don't know that I'm used to dark colors on the lid so I'm not sure how much I'll wear it, at least alone. How are people wearing this color?

I use my fingers to apply the cream shadow and I make sure that I build the color slowly. I put a very tiny bit on my finger, I tap it on my hand, and after that I apply it on my eyelid. This way I make sure that I won’t overdo it. I used the cream color three times so far and this application method made it very daytime appropriate and not very dark at all. Don’t give up on it, it can be a gorgeous color!

Yesterday I tried Raw Jade (dry) and Black Plum. As primer I used Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. I didn’t use it in a while but yesterday for some reason the primer felt very sticky and tacky. On top I used the pink shade from Dior’s House of Green, and Mac Wedge as crease color. For lashes first I used TF Extreme Mascara in Raven then I applied three coats of Black Plum. I don't wear mascara in the first two pictures.

Finally, today I tried Ripe Plum. I used Mac Bare Canvas paint as base and the highlight shadow from Chanel’s Poesie quad all over. In the crease I have Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie and Beaches and Cream. I used again Intense Teal mascara, three coats by itself. No mascara in the first two pictures.

beautiful! I'm going to try tomorrow with a cream shadow base. I believe I have Givenchy Khaki. I can try that with RJ. Fingers crossed.
Thanks much MB!!! I will also try RP w/ MC paint pots in Half Wild (Mid-tone purple, Frost) and Hyperviolet, (Deep violet, Frost) just to switch it up a bit.

Thanks, [@]pbpink[/@]! I've read reviews where people don't think the Illuminating powder lives up to its claims but that it's still really good anyway lol

I got my TF order & got to try out the Primer. All I could think of was Haven's description of how it smelled
lol.gif
Yes, it doesn't smell good. It made my skin look even & slightly illuminated. It was nice but I can't say that I'm overly wowed by it. My makeup did go on very nicely over it.

I also got Cocoa Mirage quad & Blush Nude lipstick which I LOVE LOVE both! Blush Nude is a very light nude peachy slight pink shade on me.
Aw I'm sorry you don't love the primer--maybe you can exchange it for something that works better. I'm surprised how nice Blush Nude lipstick looks when applied together with a clear or soft sparkling gloss. It just all sort of melts and looks really good that way too. I'm soy happy that you like Cocoa Mirage-I'll have to take a good look at that sometime soon!! :)

Again, for me the primer turns my face bright red. The summer palette is screaming my name!!!! I purchased last year's and returned it. Just too peachy (literally) for me. The size is also not travel friendly. Since I live in the airport it seems, not sure it would get through in my carry on. I hate to check my bags. I recently had the full size of Chanel Sublimage serum in my carry on. I thankfully got it through. If not, I think I would have missed my flight!!! Since the serum was more then the cost of my ticket.

I love the look of the Summer quad but I don't get along with Tom Ford quads so I'll certainly have to check it out in person before deciding. The cream blush is the only thing I know I want so far.

I finally caved and ordered the Spring 2015 cream shadow and Ripe Plum. I honestly wasn't very impressed with this collection, but I think I can make these work. Should be here by wed from NM.

Its the free GWP ;) I don't hate it, but I'm not in love with it either.I still really really love my Chanel Le Blanc brightening makeup base in that peachy bottle.

You're so right about Blush Nude. I'm really happy I bought that one. Do you have another TF lipstick that you love & would recommend? Besides the boys LOL!
Cocoa Mirage is a lovely palette! Very smooth & pigmented.

You might like Cherry Lush- amazing red. I don't have too many TF lipsticks tho. I need to explore them more.

I used the Spring 2015 cream shadow last night over the lid of my eye. Then took Raw Jade and placed in the crease, went over it with the lighter shade. Put the lighter shade in the inner corner of the eye, and then placed the darker shade on its on in the outer corner. Used the Absolute Noir as liner. Blended it all out, and it looked pretty cool. I love the TF Bare with these shadows.
