Yeah, the hype around this collection is very quiet here. Amazing how us Canadians react so differently to collections than our American neighbours, when we are so similar in most ways!

If you're not in Canada, I don't believe it will go through. Just as I can't order from the US site.

Yea I'm finding that out, lol...I don't really trip on LE collections b/c I have a NICE hookup with MAC, and getting things is easy for me. I only joined the specktra family because I love makeup and enjoy talking with people that love it too. I honestly just didn't like how ugly things got today. It was really disrespectful to mishandle loyal customers like that...Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But hey, if ya'll like it, I love it!!! It won't stop me from shopping, just not going to stalk it, UNLESS its necessaryGirl, forget it. They will complain but be back at it again the next collection. That's how it goes around here.

The MAC Canada site is weird. I'm on the Bao Bao page now and the prices are US prices but the little flag in the bottom right corner is Canadian and I see the free shipping message for Canada. It's like it's only half re-directing me to the US site.
I guess LJ was in stock a while ago, but it must have sent me back to the US site when I tried to checkout, where what I wanted was long gone. Don't know why, I'm not even in the US!

One time the Canandian site was glitchy and it allowed me to place an order with my US based credit card and address. Wouldn't you know that the package was dispatched from the US distribution center in Kentucky! And I KNOW it the site didn't switch over to the U.S. site when I submit my order because the Lippie I wanted was loooooonnnnggggg sold out on the US site.

Sooooooo....just called my MAC at Flatiron and they said they aren't getting this collection....only certain locations. Then I asked MAC chat...just for kicks. They said everybody is getting it.

Not at all! It was hysterical and I loved it because I TOTALLY understand. With access to limited quantities, you really mean limited quantities. So, I could see what you mean by it not being fair. 30 is terrible.Too direct? Hm...
Buy American, support US jobs, etc.
