When I tried Royal Ball lipstick by itself, it looked ashy on me. To combat that problem, I put Edge To Edge lip liner and decided to put MAC Soft Serenade lipglass on top. It's a pretty soft pink combo!
I definitely have ETE and I'm pretty sure that I have Soft Serenade (is that from Temperature Rising?). I'm going to have to try that out because I'm finding that RB isn't looking right on me.

I'm unsure how I feel about Coupe D'Chic. I have to really dig my brush in there to get it to pick up. I'm not used to that with MAC powders.

I didn't love Royal Ball on me either until I combined it with Happily Ever After lipglass and then it was love, a very print soft creamy pink. If you have the lipglass try that or a similar one would probably work too.

You look amazing!! Love it! I am playing with my goodies today and I'm loving them! Glass Slipper is truly gorgeous, it didn't look this good in swatches that I saw. The shimmer is very dimensional and rainbow-y. The eye gloss is the same, it has the rainbow-y shimmer effect. And Coupe d'Chic

After using these products, I think MAC NAILED this collection. I know people were disappointed in the beginning, but the products really create the kind of ethereal glowing look I would associate with Cinderella.
I agree. I think MAC nailed this one too. When I first saw the collection online I was disappointed but still ordered because I'm huge fan of both MAC and Disney. Once my order arrived and I saw everything in person I was in love. I think some of the not so great reviews had us expecting the worse too.

I called Macy's and the CS rep told me my orders are showing up in the computer and seem to be OK, so I've got my fingers crossed that they'll ship without incident. I just checked the site again to see if the powders were still there and they're gone and now one of the lip glasses is gone too.  How weird.  I hope you get everything you ordered!
My order shipped this morning so now i dont have to go in thurs morning! Woop woop

So got home early, early this morning from work and opened up my boxes.

Here are my first impressions. I had expected the blue to be a lighter. It's more periwinkle blue. Not a criticism, just an observation.

I'm madly in love with Royal Ball and am so glad I got a BU of it. Can't wait to try it. I also think Happily Ever After is going to be awesome and glad I got a BU but it's not Reckless Desire awesome.

I wasn't overwhelmed by Glass Slipper in the container and am glad I didn't BU it. I didn't expect FAB to be so beigy in the box. I haven't tried any of the lipglasses or lipsticks yet. Just impressions on taking out of the box.

My beauty powder was actually partly open and the base was a little raised. I was terrified it would break and crumble but I was able to softly with my finger pushed it back into the base. However, I wasn't thrilled with how it looked on my finger. It was chalky. I haven't played with it yet and am not quite sure what to do with it, LOL>

Now I fell in love with Coupe D'Chic! It was what I was hoping for and more with the color. I had to play with it today. I'm quite fair and wanted to use it as a blush. I had to swipe and swipe several times to get pay off. It still wasn't as dark as I thought it would be but I put a little Cheeky Buggar over it especially at the bottom of my cheek bone to fill it out and it was heavenly!!

It gives me a great peachy glow but it has a hint/touch of pink to brighten it up more and make it pop!

Glass Slipper on is just pure

on its own or over those lovely barely-there nudes & pinks. I'm so glad I got 2

The BP shouldn't be chalky. Its meant to be a barely there soft glow/subtle highlight. If you use the right brush it will be lovely on.

I wish I had gotten a b/u of Glass Slipper. If I get the chance, I will get another and also get Happily Ever After. They are predicting more snow for Thurs, so not sure I I can make it to the counter :(

I really wish that Nordies would have picked up this line :( It would have made ordering so much easier.

I adore glass slipper so much & I stopped buying glosses, but this one is so beautiful. I love the name too. I would like to get HEA too

I got my Mystery Princess and Royal Ball last night and I have to say at first I wasn't impressed. I tried using my usual highlighting brushes with MP and all of the just deposited glitter without any sheen but I decided to try with my 129 brush and the effect was exactly what I wanted. Just a nice sheen. When I first put in on RB it sunk into my lip lines and was more frosty than I wanted but I left it on and after like 30 minutes it seemed to even out which looked better. After I ate dinner I tried it again with just a smidgen on cranberry lip liner and I loved it. I'll try to get a pic of that this weekend. I have swatch pics but I'll post them separately from this post as I've been having serious trouble posting pics in mobile.
