Does anyone know if macys charges shipping for charge sends?I mean I called and placed a order for 2 lipsticks and they charged me 10 shippingBut then I was told that if it was over 50 it would have been free shipping?I'm upset I could have ordered another lipstick instead of shipping fee...For that reason I like nordies better.

Playing devils advocate here--maybe they are telling ppl over the phone that the most coveted item sold out because they don't want to take the time to place a phone order when the store is swarmed with ppl trying to get their hands on the same thing. In not saying that's the right thing to do, since a paying customer is a paying customer no matter if it's in person or not...I'm just saying they may be just lazy and want to get ppl off the phone as quickly as possible.

Another thing could be that, just like others here are calling beforehand doing preorders before the launch, so are people outside of Specktra. People can't be mad if stores are selling out before the official launch when they themselves are buying before it launches too. :shrugs:

If it's less than 50, they charge shipping! Same as online shipping policy! Nordies would be free shipping though!!

There was absolutely NO ONE at my Nordstrom MAC counter this morning, I grabbed two LJ, and one BK and FS. So much for skipping, i can't resist purples, and then when I was there chatting with the SA the other two landed in my bag. *snort* She said she thinks it will sell out fast though. Still can't believe I was the first person, saw a second girl as I was leaving. Now I really need breakfast, LOL.

Well no lj for me....after calling my nearby Mac store yesterday to confirm they would be getting the bao bao wan, I got up early this morning (after being at work til 3am) to be one of the first there when the mall opened and Lowe and behold the Mac rep says the bao bao wan collection was only released online.......:shock:
