I have almost all the eye pencils but only one lip pencil from them, but that's only because of my addiction to collecting MAC lip pencils. The one UD lip pencil I have is really nice. Goes on creamy and lasts well.

I didn't like it on me swatched in the store, too glittery and now at work in different lighting, all I see are sparkles, no real base like I still do with the BBW SO. Actually, could be because the SA put it on my hand with a brush and I put SO on with my finger...

That could be it! When applying Coupe D' chic I noticed fingers are the best policy, I get the base of a pink and glitter.
My fingers help trap some of the glitter on them so it isn't so BAM lol
my SO comes today...I already feel like I need a BU lol

Chances are that they were not MAC addicts but just people who heard about the collections and decided to pick up anything from them.  Still if you are going to plunk down $$$ for some make up, you should make sure that you know what you are buying. You may not be able to swatch items beforehand but at least learn the names of them. Your store should have had a separate line for people who knew the names of what they wanted.

Okay. I may try it. I use NYX lip pencils and love them. MAC, I swear I've only ever owned Chestnut, since the 90's (the same one, or no, I lost one and replaced it and don't even know where it is) and a Vino, that's it. Wait no, there was another brown in between that... LOL

I agree! I have some fairly old ones & they are still perfect. The only ones I had issues with were the N collection lol

Ahhh, I should go back and try it that way. I don't know why I didn't just do that, he distracted me trying to make a sale, all up in my personal space, lol. Mine comes today too! I just had to go to the store and swatch everything I ordered and waiting on to get more hype, lol. I don't think SO is even sold out everywhere. I like FS lipstick, but I have too many oranges and actually one pretty similar if my memory serves me right, a Milani. Romantic Breakdown is very similar to RB in Cinderella, if anything a bit more glossy. I like it but I don't need another lustre.

My buys in this collection, LJ and SO comes today, BK next Weds. I have another LJ on b/o with Bloomies that I'll give to my sis if I ever get it.For Cinderella, RB (one for me and my sis) and HEA come in today, GS I ordered from MAC yesterday and I have FAAB lipstick. OMG, I need to stop.

I just got RB, FAAB and HEA gloss. I must say that the packaging for the lippies do look way better in person. It's more glossy and less dull than the photos suggest.

In other news I'm thrilled with this collection and kind of want HEA and one of the powders. If I were smart, I'd just forget about it. But I'm crazy so I'll probably poke around Manhattan tomorrow to see whats kickin' around.

I had a day off yesterday for working Saturday. I got everything I wanted online but decided I wanted to get my niece something from the collection for her birthday next month.

I'm good aunt but not enough to get my bootie up and out of bed for Macy's opening. I got there at 1 p.m. EVERYTHING was gone except for the powders, the brushes (that don't count as far as I'm concerned) and the mascara.

I got my soon to be 11-year-old niece the beauty powder. I would love to get her Glass Slipper and that was my hope but....the counter ladies said there were women waiting at opening and they went nuts.

While I'm sure by 1, it would have been long gone I do think Macy's should look like COO does. Limit one person to buying 3. If someone is buying 6, are they doing it for friends/family or to resell? Yes, there are exceptions but most of the time...that's resell!

I did buy two Happily Ever Afters. We will see how great of an aunt I am as to whether or not I give her one of mine. I doubt I'm that good LOL. I missed yesterday's restock so please keep this thread updated for any restocks. I think Glass Slipper would be perfect for a little girl and I'm too selfish of an aunt to give her one of my lipglasses...but good enough to buy the beauty powder for her :)

I ordered happily ever after on the restock thinking it was the pink gloss :( why would you not name the more sparkly of the two and the one with blue shimmer GLASS SLIPPER???!!! C'mon mac
