On me it's like a sheer powder . No glow no shimmer nothing .

Damn. I was hoping that this was the one BP that would work on dark skin. So sorry it didn't work out.

It's more of a highlighter on me. Definite glow and shimmer. I wore it yesterday. I posted pics. Here's the best one showing it:

What a joke that Love Purples "collection" was. All perm lipsticks and when I clicked on them I got "Out of Stock- restocks soon!". I think there are many who aren't aware that those lipsticks were perm and bought them thinking they were from some "new collection". It would be amazing if LJ went the Heroine route but sadly MAC probably couldn't repromote it because of contracts with BBW @MarshaPomells fun hearing the international trip your LJ is making, can't wait to see pics!

Exactly, I'm so glad I had a clue. Drives me crazy when new collections come out with old stuff, lol.

Gurrrrllllll, I started to get worried because I gave the Nordstrom's sales lady my gmail email when I purchased over the phone. But the UPS notification wasn't updating, the last notice was from Friday... I'm like what the heck is going on.  And then I see your post, LOL. I started getting upset.  For some reason, I checked my yahoo email, and UPS must have that email saved to my account/address because I received an email from UPS saying the package will be delivered tomorrow too!!! BUTTTT the notification tied to my gmail account still has not been updated with scheduled delivery. I find that odd.   I didn't get SO because I just got into full on face makeup and I didn't know how to use it. But all the ladies seem to love it!  I just purchased BM, RB, and LJ. 

Haha, I made you panic!! Yeah that is odd with the different updates. What's BM? RB from Cinderella you mean?

My email to MAC CORP. Though I was able to get everything I wanted from the Bao Bao Wan and Cinderella collection, I was very disappointed in how difficult it was for the consumer to attain what they deserve and desired. Between the sneaky (random) online releases, extremely limited stock and misinformation given by .com and in store sales associates, your customers were led into frustration, anger and confusion. By commiting these acts, it lets your customers know that they are not valued nor are they respected. I understand that to make sales there must be intrigue, and that's fine. But this company flat out mishandled the people with the last few Limited Edition releases. If/When you should see the masses fleeing from you in hoards and patronizing new ventures, know that you have fallen on your own sword... Inevitably, we have the power to shut you down! #MoneyTalks

Amen. I could not have said it better. I hope Mac will listen. Sadly, I know better. I have been pleading the same. Are for the last year too. So thing has got to change. Makeup is supposed to be fun NOT stressful and full of sleepless nights and a broken heart.

One I just found and didn't swatch, CG Lip Perfection in Embrace. Oops, forgot RiRi Boy too! Closest to LJ in my collection is DG. DG is a little more pinky in my eyes...more of a dusty rose in it.

It think I even love it more than Moxie (did I say that out loud?) LOL!

Thankfully, I just located LVER!--too many lipsticks to keep track of!

LVER is more matte, darker and has more red than BK. They are actually quite different when you swatch them! I'm loving the pinky coral reds too!

I have no clue what I am getting from Mac is Beauty yet--will think about it more after Julia Petit!

Nice! I think I may just get brills at the 5 bucks since it looks closer to LJ than DG does. Also who is bang bang from? Colour pop also? That colour is gorgeous.

I agree, if anyone missed out on LJ, just go with Brills. Tho the finish is slightly different, it's $5 compared to $17.50, and it's not LE. Can't beat that!!!

I like to be able to just apply one coat of lipstick and go. This will probably now just sit in a drawer untouched. How does it look so pink on some, yet orange on me? I'm around NW10.

I think our pale NW-ness is the reason. I am NW10 too and a lot of products look kinda orange on me as well

And I need to pair/mix them with pink/purple/blue to achieve a "pretty" color.

I'm about an NC25 and even though I'm Not super fair, my skin tone is on the lighter side and I also find BK pulls a bit orangey on me. Not too happy about that bc I'm not a fan of orange l/s, especially when I was expecting a deep pink. It's also super drying, a lot more so than LJ.

I saw pictures like these and had no reason to believe that BK was anything other than pink. One of these is even on an NW10, so I'm puzzled as to why it doesn't look at all like that on me. So strange.
