Sigh. Good news and bad new about my Macys shipment that was "lost." USPS finally updated my tracking two business days after the expected delivery date. They should be here today or tomorrow. Great!

Bad news is I already freaking re-ordered Burmese Kiss from the MAC restock and it'll be here tomorrow. I guess I can return one unless I really want it as a BU. Or I can sell to a specktrette.

Even WORSE news is that I panicked about getting the Cinderella stuff that I bought it off Evil Bay at the cheapest price I can find. If I can CB or return my Macy's cinderella stuff, I'll only be out about $20. Isn't horrible... but still sucks to lose that $20 off Macys/UPS/USPS's f**k up. Maybe I'll love Royal Ball and want to keep a BU. I just don't know if I'll need two of HEA. Maybe my mind will change when I see it in person... or maybe I'll see if I can trade a BNIB HEA for a BNIB Glass Slipper.

Many options to go from here... but no matter what I'll still be out money. Sigh.

Normally I wouldn't suggest this but maybe you should sell the extras on eBay to get your money back. In this situation I don't think anyone would blame you. If you feel uncomfortable about that there are definitely people in the cb willing.

Hmmm. I will have to sit on this idea. I was helped out a lot by fellow specktrettes in obtaining LJ. So I'd want to turn to them first. While I'd love to make back my list $20, I also feel bad turning to ebay. We'll see as the package comes. I think my first option will to be to try and see if anyone wants to swap glosses to I have one of each. I am regretting not getting Glass Slipper. My ebay shipment comes Friday though. We'll see!
I will keep you in mind in case I don't want to keep it as a BU!

Yay! I'm so glad it was found. I agree with the others, definitely put them in the CB. I know they are loads who missed out so you should be able to get them off your hands quickly.

My babies are here! Well technically, they are at my sisters office but I get them this week. All this drama about Macys' orders getting screwed up had me worried and I was checking my tracking number everyday. USPS tried to deliver it on Saturday but the office was closed. After waiting anxiously for all of Sunday/most of Monday, it was finally delivered in the afternoon. The information on the tracking slip said that it was left at the front door/porch (of a business in NYC?) and it wasn't signed so I called my sister up and sighed with relief when she told me the package was at her office.

So many screw ups with deliveries this time. Were these just honest mistakes or were these packages target for some reason -can the mail people tell what a package contains?
