I was in Sephora today and I bought the MJ lipstick in Blow. They only had one left.

The one thing I will say, and maybe it's just me, but it smells like seaweed. The smell fades as it dries, but it has a distinctly "beachy" smell when you're painting it on. It's not unpleasant, exacty, but it definitely threw me off the first time I cracked her open.

Hmm that is strange, thank goodness my nails are usually far from my face haha. I'm not usually too sensitive to smells unless its a lipstick, when sometimes you can taste the smell, if that even makes sense.

I take it back, I am buying another foundation. I just tried a sample of the new Diorskin Air Serum foundation and I LOVE IT! The sample I got is way too dark and taking into account the other Dior foundations I've tried the lightest shade probably will be too and it is sheer so thank goodness I got those CoverFX pigment drops. Other than that he formula is just perfect. I have a lot of acne scarring and most foundations pool in them or separate around them, the Nars Sheer Glow was the best I had found but this is even better. Plus I have dry skin and most of the new serum foundations are not so good for that but this one is great, it just glides on so nicely without sinking into my scars with a nice velvety finish, not too matte or too dewy. Sorry for the nonsensical ramblings, it is just so incredibly difficult to find a good foundation with all my skin problems. If I can hold out for chic week I will but I may not be able too haha. I really want to get the full size bottle and play around with it. Hopefully I can get the color and pigment to work out. Honestly putting more work into it would be worth not having to worry how my face looks 2-3 hours after I put foundation on.

Yeah I remember it being around April 10ish last year so that makes sense. I've been picking up random things lately so right now just looking to get essentials - more beauty blender solid cleanser and first aid beauty lip balm. I kind of remember someone in this thread discussing an alternative brush soap, in a solid?? Something cheaper than beauty blender? If you know of something... Share your wisdom w me!!

I saw Sephora has their own version of the solid beauty blender cleanser. It comes with a small silicon pad to rub the brush on. It's ridged and textured for better cleaning would be my guess. It's about $12. I've not used the product myself but I did gift it to a friend for Christmas with a set of brushes. I would ask the friend but she has no point of reference.

I didn't know that. I use this pore cleanser pad also to clean my brushes, I do a dab of dr bronner soap on it and swirl away!!

I have two MJ blushes and I really love them both. The Face 1 brush is amazing! I like the blush brush as well but I think there was a bad batch because a lot of people had bad experiences with it. It works perfectly for me though. I'm definitely looking forward to getting more of his brushes.

i googled and the its not actually being re-released :( its a diff color, people swatched it from the early release at sephora

i think i can justify the duo for the highligher alone since i dont have a dupe. whatever!!

followed you on IG btw--- just started empire a bit ago, im super behind, but your post had me dying
