If you're like me and missed out on Blue Kashmir (sniff! sob!) you might look at Sally Hansen Blue my mind. I think other people have mentioned this color. I saw in a local CVS yesterday, so it's definitely around. Pardon my sloppy work, I just put in on quickly last night right over some clear np I was already wearing. The color is really pretty and the formula is good (2 coats here). Hope this helps! Now if I could find a dupe for Romantic Breakdown I would be all set!!

I have KB but I still need to pick this one up. Pretty!!

The closest dupe in my collection was Melt Bang Bang, it is just a brighter than FS.

I absolutely adore the colour of LJ, but I'm a little dissapointed with the formula. It's one of the creamy MAC matte's, which means it has a little more slip than I'd like. It almost has a greasy feel on my lips. But then I loved the old Retro Matte formula that made your lips feel like the Sahara, so take that with a grain of salt. Oh and LJ stains, but I think that's a given with this kind of colour.

Okay so I have my Lavender Jade (which I had to get for twice the price from a monster on eBay, but at least I made sure it was genuine and it is), and it is my FAVORITE LIPSTICK ON THE EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!! It's lighter than almost everything and PINKER than almost everything, but bluer than dodgy girl. So it's PERFECT. the only real contender for ME is probably d'lilac, but they're kind of the same think only Lavender Jade is the pink version and d'lilac is the blue version. Well, and D'Lilac is PASTEL light, so you have to be in it for real when you bust that out.


From the horizontal picture, they are, top left to top right, then the second row, then the third:
Gunner, Smashbox Vivid Violet, NARS Dominique, Pure Heroine, Viva Glam Nicki 2. Then the middle row: OCC Technopagan, OCC Hoochie, Marc Jacobs Truth or Dare, Lime Crime Pansy, Violetta, Asian Flower, Lime Crime D'Lilac, Lime Crime Chinchilla, Lime Crime Airborne Unicorn, LAVENDER JADE!, Dodgy Girl. Then bottom row: Heroine, Smoked Purple, Up the Amp, Goddess of the Sea.



SO, the only one out of these it TIES with instead of beating is D'Lilac. It is VERY similar to Dodgy Girl, but bluer so it's more awesome. And it's VERY similar to Airborne Unicorn, but lighter (so better), and a tad bluer (so better).

I'm wearing less than zero makeup and it's been the week from HELL, but I snapped a pic wearing it so you could see. I LOVE it! I just wish I didn't have to sell my soul to get it!!!!!

Now that I look at this I hate that my eyes are green. Purple looks so bad with my green eyes. I don't understand why, purple is supposed to go with green eyes. I just wish I had brown eyes so I could look good in everything. I guess there are always colored contacts!

Stick with the red-based putples and you'll like them much better! The blue-purples don't do a thing for green eyes.

You're right! That's why I can pull off red eyeshadow and red mascara but I look ridiculous in purple mascara... Blues make my eyes look "muddy", but not in a good way.

Yup! I wear any and every colour, but when i throw on the burgundies and wines and reds, my eyes are all BAM! A lot of people don't wear em cuz they look stoned or sickly, but i LAAAAHHHHVE them!

Do you recommend blue-based purples for brown eyes? I never seem to be able to pull off the red-based purple shades that well, just the blue ones.
