I am really struggling with the eye palette. I am nc15 and very warm toned. On me palette pulls so cool, the dark blue one looks very blue on me. I trirf using it without the darkest shade but then it's too light and all the shades blend into one big mess. Any suggestions? ?

First, I think that looks very pretty! And wow it does look blue on you. It looks very dark purple on me. Online (the nearest MAC counter to me is 1.5 hours away) they determined I'm an NC20, but it's too dark, so I may be an NC15 too. My eyes are slightly lighter brown then yours. For the look I created using the Stroke of Midnight palette, I used satin taupe on the lid, blended it up with omega into the crease, and highlighted with vapour. Very quick and simple. Then I used the stroke of midnight shade as an eyeliner on the outer third of my upper eyelid, and into the small outer v. I was very careful and used a very small brush here so it didn't blend too much or muddy up, which is a problem I've had too. Then I just tight lined my upper waterline with black eyeliner to make my eyelashes look thicker. Wish I had taken a picture because I actually got several compliments, even three from strangers whom asked me what brand I had used. Not sure if it helps you, but that is the look I created using the palette yesterday.

Thank you will try it this way

I used every single shade in the palette trying to fix it and too look decent... I will probably try to avoid darkest shade in the palette and try to use something else

Does your husband have a single brother? I swear most of the specktra husbands are awesome!
Lol, no, he doesn't. But it sounds like there are several husbands who are in on the Mac stalk game and seem to be really good at it. My husbands really competitive, so it's like a game to him to get the LE items for me. He could care less about makeup though.

As always you rock all lippies, I love your makeup it is subtle and lovely. I never thought Royal Ball would be so great, at first I didn't want to purchase it but I did ! It's easily wearable and truly worth buying. I am glad I picked up the beauty powder ( iridescent one ) but I haven't tried it yet. Here everything was sold out very fast, the es palette maybe in 15 mn !

You're welcone. I think the way you did it really made your eyes look pretty and I loved the eyeliner! Blue is supposed to be good on brown eyes, but I haven't mastered it yet. The way you did it looks trendy and pretty. I wish stroke of midnight pulled blue on me too, because I'd try your look! But it's dark purple on me. I haven't had too much time to play with SoM yet, but Satin Taupe on the lid is actually a go to for me so that was simple. I always get compliments when I wear it on the lid; I think it makes brown eyes pop, and kind of look golden. I like Quarry from this palette too. I'm going to try it on the lid and satin taupe in the crease and under the bottom lash line like soft eyeliner. However, I have to be careful with darker colors in the crease because my eyes are deep set. I usually put a lighter color there because my crease is already deep! LOL I only can use dark colors like SoM in the outer v. I saw someone use it in the crease and it looked stunning, but it wouldn't look right on me. Have fun playing! We are now grown women playing Cinderella but using makeup now, aren't we? LOL

That is too awesome for words, seriously! My ex would have laughed in my face if I had ever even asked him. We were together off and on for almost four years, but then again, we weren't married. I think some men (like your husband) are just so secure in their masculinity that, like you said, they view it as a challenge. My poor dad never complained when he had to run out for tampax for one of his three girls (my Mom, my sister or me.) LOL.

My dad is like that too! It's my parents, me and my sister and he is so comfortable with us talking about periods, pads, bras, etc. He's even fantastic to go shopping with. Love him for it!

After almost ripping my eyelids off from Lightly Tauped, I'm a little confused... is it Glu?... Lipglass?.... A substance meant to keep your eyes open for torcher purposes? LOL How do you use this stuff! My gosh it's STICKY!!

It's funny bc my husband is actually more excited than I am bc he helped me snag most of my Cinderella items off macys.com while I was on the other computer stalking/ordering BBW. He's like "you're wearing your Cinderella makeup to the movie, right?
OMG how cute!!!

This is a gorgeous look! Your eyes are amazing. I'm so envious of your wing (mine never look good anymore because the skin on my eyes is too loose). I didn't get the palette so no suggestions, but I had to comment on your eye!

I already have the Stroke of Midnight palette, today I came it. It's absolutelly beautiful :eyelove:
it is beautiful.
How do you like Royal Ball? I can't even see it on me. It's like a clear gloss.
if you add more you will get a pretty color. I lined mine with currant lipliner and I have also worn it alone.

I will have to try it with currant, Lou. Funny you brought that liner up, I was wearing it today under a Punk Couture.

Same with my Dad! He's really put up with a lot over the years. Poor guy. My Free as a Butterfly has gotten lost in the mail, and he's heard me moping about it, so now he's even asking for updates. Gotta love a Dad like that! LOL

While the launch in Germany was awful and I thought I wouldn't be able to get antyhing since I was in Italy when it launched, I can say that it was pure luck for me to be in Italy during the release!

I don't really know the exact date it released in Italy but it had to be a few days prior to my visit, so I dragged my friends into the store expecting the Cinderella collection to be sold out but - lo and behold - they still had e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-ng! Like, really everything! Nothing was sold out!

So I got Royal Ball and the Stroke of Midnight palette which I've been loving. It just looks stunning and the quality is surprisingly good considering some of MAC's latest LE palettes were awful. I also bought Free as a Butterfly from someone else back in Germany but I don't know how to feel about it... It's really sheer. I'm not sure I will wear it on its own but maybe as a topper or something.

Congrats on getting what you wanted! Enjoy them! Getting this collection seemed to be all about luck. MAC really needs to do better with their LE collections.
