Posting here & in the cindy thread. This is my look created from some of my picks from both collections! It's soft and simple, good for the weekends!

Stroke of Midnight Palette on the eyes,
BBW Summer Opal on the cheeks as a soft shimmery blush
BBW RBreakdown on the lips, lined & filled with UD's Naked liner. The liner matches perfectly with the l/s. Makes it more opaque without changing the color too much.

I'm loving it!

Beautiful!

You look beautiful, Lauren! This is a perfect understated look!

I really like the Naked liner paired with RB. The added depth and opacity give the lipstick more definition, especially for more pigmented lips.

I'm glad I got RB. It was my first lustre so I'm pretty happy with it. Besides that you look great! Everything' looks natural

The liner works perfectly with it. When I tried RB alone, after an hour or so it would sink into liplines I never knew I had. :haha: but over the liner it's mych more smooth and opaque! Definitely enchances without changing the shade.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you're liking RB too!!

@erine1881 I apologize if I've asked you this at some time in the past and forgotten... but I've been reading that in general eyeliners and lipliners (both in the pencil type) have virtually the same ingredients, the only difference is maybe there's something in a lipliner sometimes that isn't "eye safe" or something in an eyeliner that isn't great to ingest, but even then the ingredients are just irritating, not dangerous. Is that true? For some reason I thought that eyeliners were drying and lip liners moisturizing since lips tend to dry and eyelids tend to be oily. But if it's true, then that would be awesome. I've used the liners in reverse before for short-term looks (selfies) and I took your advice on the Chromagraphic pencil, but if this is just a general rule for ALL liners... my whole life would be different...

I so wanted to get the Chromographic from the Toledo collection but every time I tried it on in the story, it irritated my eyes. Had to pass on it-- sniff.

Last time I did my makeup SOMETHING was bugging my eyes really bad, and making my nose run like all day, but I used almost all products that I don't usually, so it could have been anything. Couldn't be the Bobbi Brown liner, the duo lash glue, the NARS primer, the Marc Jacobs concealer or the MUFE smoky lash because I wore those like the day before with no problem, but it COULD be the Lancome eye makeup remover (if I didn't get it all off), MAC Scene or MAC Aqua shadows, the Superfresh CCB from the spring 15 eye palette, or the UD oil-control makeup setting spray. I had issues with eye irritation a LOT last year, so bad I thought I had allergies, and the UD spray is the only thing in common from this episode and last year... Could that be it? Or do I probably have issues with a few things? It's like the only way to be sure is to wear ONE eye product at a time and test EVERYTHING and I just don't know how I'm going to do that... But something is bugging me like crazy. At least I'm hoping to wear eyeliner on lips instead of the other way around! That usually goes much better... Although I can't find a SINGLE lavender eyeliner that could go with Lavender Jade. How can lavender be like the one color that's been popular every other decade as long as fashion has existed and no one has a true lavender eyeliner?

Paranoid thought: It COULD be one of those things that didn't bug my eyes the day before because what if the difference was that I got some in my eye on the second day and not the first? I hate not knowing when I do my makeup whether I'm going to be weepy and sniffly all day or not!

Well, I sometimes go on no makeup days to give the eyes time to recover and get less reactive on the rare occasion when something is bothering them. Good luck in finding the liner for lavender jade. I do have a pale lavender eye pencil from By Terry, but it's more of a waterline color-- very light so not sure it would be vibrant enough to be a good match.

With the exception of newer formulas that are coming out with glitters and prolongwearability, yes, pencils are pencils and can be worn on either eyes or lips. The main difference between them are some of the colour additives, which make some of them not safe for eye or lip use, but that is almost exclusive to the US safety standards. If you go overseas, those same colour safety warnings don't apply. The US is way more strict (many times for no reason) than other countries. I use them interchangeably, so definitely do it at your risk. This doesn't apply to use on the waterline tho. Just the lashline.

It's an old shirt I got at a concert when I went with a friend to see Static X and there was this opening band called Davey Suicide and the shirt has the title of their song "Generation F*ck Star" on it.

Ok cool! LOL
Thanks for explaining the powder. I'll have to give it a second chance.

I was just able do catch Bloomingdale's restock/back order of Lavender Jade. I placed an order and then realized that the billing address is my old one and so I placed another one and it still has the wrong billing address. I'm really worried that they may cancel the orders, but I called them they said it should be fine and that they would call to sort it out before just outright canceling the order. Anyone have any experience with this?
