I placed an order for LJ for my sis w/Bloomies since Mar 4th and the eta has always been May 1st. We'll see.

I'm really hopeful. Since my RB from them shipped the day after it was ordered (March 20th). Maybe May 1st is going to be a restock for all retailers? It feels like a super long wait though.

Yeah, it will be May in no time. I just hope it's not a dummy date. I can wait for two months if I have to as long as I actually get it. Bloomingdale's is currently my favorite retailer, but if my order gets cancelled it will make me feel slightly differently. I checked and the money is being withheld so I'm sure that's good right... even though it always happens it just makes me feel a bit better.

I noticed mine was being withheld only last week so I thought it was shipping, but no. I honestly don't even remember seeing that when I first placed the order that's why I got my hopes up.

I just saw a note on the order saying to call and confirm or it will get cancelled, even though it was already on back order when I placed the order... just to be double sure I called and confirmed. lol

I hope ya'll get your LJ! I am so curious as to why this item is backordered two months. Like, where would this stock be coming from? MACs not making any more... so, is it magic? Reserve stock they can start selling after a certain period of time? I wonder.

Okay so this website is such a bad influence, lol. I just ordered My Beautiful Rocket and Morange AND Genuine Orange chromagraphic pencil. FS has really turned me onto orange something crazy. I will swatch those with FS when they get here, but in the meantime, I HATE to say this, but you might have to resort to eBay That's how I got mine. It feels like I sold a piece of my soul. But I had no choice, it was gone SO fast. Or maybe somebody got it and they don't like it and they'll trade with you

I've never bought makeup outside of retail and I don't think I'll change my ways now. I don't even like paying for shipping...lol I ought right refuse unless I can't avoid it like for furniture.

I feel like we need to form some kind of coalition and vow not to buy from eBay. Put them out of business... (the makeup sharks, not all of eBay lol) I mean you never even know for certain if you're getting a fake. I spend so much time investigating the seller and then investigating the product when it gets here, and I'm STILL suspicious. Not to mention I'm putting more money in the pocket of the person who caused the shortage in the first place. There needs to be a rule about how many products each individual person can buy. I mean one or two backups? That's fine, that makes sense with LE stuff. But these ebay people are buying like 60 and turning a 200% profit an HOUR after the online release!

Not to mention how many times I've bought something and it was SO not what I ordered, or I turned out to hate it, or I have to pay double-shipping to get the right size. If I order a medium it turns out I'm a small, if I order a small it turns out I'm a medium, if I order a "high gloss" boot it turns out they meant tall, not high, and it goes over my knees...

Oh and how much money I waste when I can use paypal and it's like I didn't even open my wallet so I don't feel like I'm really spending it! And I don't have to feel sheepish and justify it to the person at the checkout!

BUT.... I live in Minnesota and there are just so many awesome products we can't get here So I can justify SOME of it.

I'm curious as to where the stock is coming from as well! Maybe it's stock that is held back so all the re-sellers don't buy it all up... but that would be kind of odd... It will be interesting to see the batch codes. Maybe they made several. Like the Simpsons restocks. I have two Pink Sprinkles blushes and the batch codes vary by a month or so.
