It's just midnight now, and I extremely last minute ordered the two mufe palettes because the discount was still applicable. Damn specktra's influence. They are a really good value so I think that's how I justified it.

I checked my list that I made from IMATS in January, and there were at least two shades from each palette that I've been wanting. It was only logical that I get them both, as I would have paid the same amount for just four shadows anyway.

I probably would have gotten them without the discount so that was a bonus, plus Ebates!

I liked that in canadian, it's the cost equivalent to buying two eyeshadow singles and a empty duo compact. Like such a good deal and I don't own any mufe shadows. A high quality brightly colored palette is hard to find but this one fits the bill. yeah ebates is awesome. lols totes logical
also, some of the shades are basically blushes so multitasking

Yes, I am kind of ashamed of my recent hauling too but then again EPIC hauls are the best!! Yes, you feel sick when you look at your bank statements, but sometimes you just gotta get it all out of your system, recalibrate the budget and then play with your goodies like it's Christmas day until the next epic haul rolls around, which in my case is 6 months from now and it will. be. EPIC.

Plus I new goodies makes me like my old goodies more too because you're using the old and new together and it makes you more excited about beauty. Goodnight Specktralites!

If you ladies had to choose one awesome eyeshadow palette, what would it be? I scrapped my whole makeup collection a couple years back out of boredom and never really bothered with eyeshadow again since 90% of the time I just do winged liner. The palettes I do have are Naked 2 (which I'm not crazy about, I feel like it's too cool-toned), the Sephora Color Anthology set (never actually played with it, got it as a gift), and this Tarte palette I randomly bought on a whim because I'm a sucker for those colours. I have light brown eyes and a yellow undertone (middle eastern skin) if that matters, and I mainly lean toward nudes/metallics/smoky colours as I'm not too adventurous with colorful shadows other than maybe plums or mossy greens. Any recommendations?

Naked 3 is my holy grail. I know I'm late if you wanted recommendations before the sale ended.

Haha it isn't all bad, I love the pump. I don't understand why so many sunscreens with a thin consistency come in a tube, if you don't pay enough attention it can get very messy. Although maybe it is just me. The smell isn't that bad I just really don't like the smell of sunscreen and the texture is nice. The only thing that really bothered me is the white cast it left, especially since I'm so pale. It wasn't as bad as a white cast as this one Neutrogena sunscreen I had though. It took me a day or two to notice and if my skin didn't have so much redness I'm not sure I would have. I've been looking at a lot of sunscreens and it seems like most of the mineral ones leave a white cast for people. I'm going to try to finish out the bottle with the advice above and see how I feel about it.

You ever get your Josie Maran stuff at QVC? They have such good deals.. One of my orders from QVC is an auto-delivery of a Josie Maran set with the Argan Milk 1oz, Argan oil 1.7oz, Moisturizer 2oz and Infinity Cheek and Lip tint.. $79 ( $71 plus $8 shipping).. it is no longer available - but I signed up for auto-delivery so I have two more shipments coming (after the one delivered yesterday).. When it first broadcast - for the Today Special Value- it was priced at $30 !! I am so jealous of people who got in on that, but it was before my time shopping at QVC.. .

I order a lot of stuff from QVC to get IT cosmetics brushes.. a lot of times - it is cheaper to buy a set with a particular brush than it is to buy the brush alone..

Yes and I'm a lot older than you and it still happens! Gotta remember to turn on the light! My biggest fear is when I'll have to get those makeup reading glasses that you can lift up to put your makeup on, horrors! As it is I use a giant magnifying mirror.

I saw her sets on qvc! There's a Laura Geller one with the gelato highlighter that comes with the brush that I've been eyeing. I wanted her Enlightenment Illumizer and that's not on qvc yet. I threw in the small argan oil drops because the girl at the Benefit counter at Macy's adores it and recommended it yesterday and I needed to be over $25 for free shipping with the 22% discount. This will actually be my first experience with her stuff!

Clarins UV PLUS HP spf 40 ( has the typical Clarins fragrance but doesn't smell "sunscreeny" ! Light weight, no whitish cast and good spf!! I also like the algenist one but it does have a scent too!! More like the lacto calamine scent! A tad Strong while applying but fades away! Again thin texture and no whitish cast!!

Really? I have to look into it. I use and love The Body Shop's Vitamin E line. Their Nutriganics eye cream. Apparently Laura Geller's highlighter is similar to LM Indiscretion which I got last Friday so I'm kind of 2nd guessing...plus I need another highlighter like I need a hole in the head.
