The new blush display was the most interesting addition I'd seen to their line in a LOOOOOOONG time. The purple Sephora blush is actually lavender-- maybe not far off from Clinique's Pansy, however I've never swatched Pansy so I couldn't say. Far too light/pastel for me, I prefer the UD shade.

I guess after the sale it was worse because every time I went in to look at the blush I was like

Yeah so no, I don't need a lavender blush. I'll have to get the UD whenever my wallet recuperates from the last two weeks.

Naked 3 is my holy grail. I know I'm late if you wanted recommendations before the sale ended.

To be honest I never even bothered with the sale, I've been so busy with my daughter this past week I just figured I'll grab my haul whenever so not late at all! I totally looked over Naked 3 and was leaning towards the original palette but I may have to go back and take another look..

Haha it isn't all bad, I love the pump. I don't understand why so many sunscreens with a thin consistency come in a tube, if you don't pay enough attention it can get very messy. Although maybe it is just me. The smell isn't that bad I just really don't like the smell of sunscreen and the texture is nice. The only thing that really bothered me is the white cast it left, especially since I'm so pale. It wasn't as bad as a white cast as this one Neutrogena sunscreen I had though.  It took me a day or two to notice and if my skin didn't have so much redness I'm not sure I would have. I've been looking at a lot of sunscreens and it seems like most of the mineral ones leave a white cast for people. I'm going to try to finish out the bottle with the advice above and see how I feel about it.

The white cast is exactly what bugs me! I try to avoid chemical sunscreens but the mineral ones drive me crazy so I end up not wearing any at all. I was hoping this one would be different. *sob*

I think a smokey blue would make your light brown eyes glow. I don't know of a palette with smokey blues, but you can build your own palette. MUFE has some really nice colors. Check out ME224 Navy Blue, S226 Abyssal Blue, ME230 Peacock Blue, S234 Azure Blue, D236 Lagoon Blue. UD Peace is really pretty too.

I'm going to take a look at these! I've always avoided blue ever since my first eyeshadow trio in seventh grade. I used to run to the bathroom after my mom dropped me off at school in the mornings to put it on before class. Priorities! Lol maybe I'll revisit the blues! I do have a weakness for summery teals but a deep blue might just be the thing. And just for laughs, here's the infamous seventh grade palette:

Really! It's really wearable. No pink eye to be found. It's the best Naked palette to me. You can do subtle or bold with it and it's just amazing. Give it a look. I went to Sephora this morning and got my foundation. I suddenly got tired of using concealer as foundation. Didn't see any of the new MUFE or UD stuff and I didn't bother to ask because I was distracted. I was distracted by seeing the woman I complained about months ago for tailing me throughout the store. As soon as she saw me she booked it in the opposite direction. :haha: I must've looked like the cat that swallowed the canary.

Yup! I love the Darkside/Blackheart one. I don't know where it is right now, but it served me well for a long time. Definitely recommend.

I just made another order. I was $12 away from making Rouge again - so I decided to pick up Kat Von D's Lovecraft lipstick.. and now I am Rouge through December 31, 2016.. wow.

And those MUFE bronzers look beautiful.. I am so picky about my bronzer shade though. I like red-toned bronzers (for an all-over bronzer) with not even a hint of orange.. so I still don't know which one to try.. maybe that's a good thing ? I need to stop ordering..

If anyone is looking for a dark, red-toned matte drugstore bronzer - if you can find Revlon's limited edition bronzer in Desert Bronze...pick her up... it is freaking beautiful and dark for drugstore.. I picked up a backup - I love it so much..( I am only NW20, but I love darker bronzers, especially red-toned ones).

I just wanted to chime in. My motto for brands that don't include my skintone has been: if you can't think of me here (makeup line) then I won't think of you there (skincare line). I made an exception for Givenchy recently though. But it was an exception.

That's so cool! Yeah, it's so frustrating when a brand comes out with a product that works on all complexions just short of mine and darker. Too many times have I found a bronzer/contour powder, etc that is the same color as my complexion (so therefore useless in its purpose) or a new foundation line that stops at, say, NC 45. I COMPLETELY stay away from certain brands because they have nothing for me.

I'm going to need to do the same thing!!!! I just placed two more orders. Got the kat von d shade & light palette after weeks of debating and drooling over it in the store! And just now ordered the makeup forever brights palette! Also placed an order from makeupgeek for the new foiled shadows! And I just received a Sephora box on my doorstep....the new Marc Jacobs high liners I only ordered three but I want the rest ....now to hide the boxes from my fiance. He never says anything about the numerous boxes he sees laying about the house but he will when he finds out I'm going to be short on grocery money! Hahahh

Thanks to you, I checked to see how far I was from renewing Rouge status. I just knew that I was $417 away. Umm, no. I'm $147 away. Soooo...yeah. Although I'm proud that I showed restraint during this sale. During last year's sale, I made a total of 10 purchases during the sale and spent at least double what I spent this time.

Hahaha! Everytime I get a box i'll tell hubby I used the Sephora gc he gave me for Christmas! I just left Sephora! I was testing foundations again. I think I'm dropping SB Halo as it is a bit shiny like @monsy said. Suddenly I'm liking Sephora's brand! Then now Tarte's 12hr. So those with my original Nars Sheer...oh wait, I tried MUFE too. Ugggh. Halp!
