If you ladies had to choose one awesome eyeshadow palette, what would it be? I scrapped my whole makeup collection a couple years back out of boredom and never really bothered with eyeshadow again since 90% of the time I just do winged liner. The palettes I do have are Naked 2 (which I'm not crazy about, I feel like it's too cool-toned), the Sephora Color Anthology set (never actually played with it, got it as a gift), and this Tarte palette I randomly bought on a whim because I'm a sucker for those colours. I have light brown eyes and a yellow undertone (middle eastern skin) if that matters, and I mainly lean toward nudes/metallics/smoky colours as I'm not too adventurous with colorful shadows other than maybe plums or mossy greens. Any recommendations?
I think a smokey blue would make your light brown eyes glow. I don't know of a palette with smokey blues, but you can build your own palette. MUFE has some really nice colors. Check out ME224 Navy Blue, S226 Abyssal Blue, ME230 Peacock Blue, S234 Azure Blue, D236 Lagoon Blue. UD Peace is really pretty too.

So, I, Um, forgot that I placed an order yesterday for the new MUFE Bronzers... UPS just dropped em off and they're very pretty-- they have a similar texture/finish to MAC's Extra Dimension products.

L-R: 30M (Sienna), 35I (Caramel)

for NC35 complexion, what would you recommend?
It's hard to say because I'm not really sure-- I've never product matched someone, but I've seen Charisma's pics around here and on her blog, so I have an idea of what something may look like on her skin tone.

From looking up NC35, I think 25I could work, or even 35I depending on the look you're going for. These swatch very softly (they truly are that kind of 'gel baked' formula that Extra Dimension is made of); I don't know if that was the intention so that they could be carefully built up. Even 30M is not that dark, but it'll work in warming up my complexion SLIGHTLY (and I'm NC 50). I'd love it if they had one a shade deeper in there for true warmth and definition on darker complexions.

Also, I don't know if Sephora says it, but "M" stands for Matte and "I" stands for iridescent, so the shades with I does have a bit of shimmer in it. But they all appear to have a slightly satiny finish (also like MAC Extra Dimension Bronzers).

Thank you so much for that input! That helped me a lot! I think I'll try the 25I and the 35I! This product looks amazing :eyelove: I live in humid weather so a waterproof bronzer is right up my alley! My sister is your complexion and I get really disappointed when she can't find a shade that suits her. She has started to make her own makeup! I own a few foundations, lipsticks and eyeshadows that she has made. She has been studying for years and has produced items that compete with very well known brands!

That's so cool! Yeah, it's so frustrating when a brand comes out with a product that works on all complexions just short of mine and darker. Too many times have I found a bronzer/contour powder, etc that is the same color as my complexion (so therefore useless in its purpose) or a new foundation line that stops at, say, NC 45. I COMPLETELY stay away from certain brands because they have nothing for me. :(
