Does anyone else wish this collection was more playful? The more swatches I see the more it goes from fun and summery to meh.

It seems like MAC goes back and forth every year with the big summer packaging collection. One year it'll be more colorful and/or younger and then the next year, it'll be more conservative and formal. I'm not against the way this collection is shaping up, but it's definitely more on the safe side overall. I'll get the Lustre lippie and possibly the blush if it's more frosty than matte, since I already have similar in more matte finishes. I think I'm most interested in the brushes.

I think Golden Rinse is going to turn out to be a bit warmer than AS in real life. I really do like the Studio Sculpt powder, so this bronzer will be nice, but I am going to skip it anyways, since I have enough bronzer to last me for a WHILE, between AS, the one from Brooke Shields (which I love), and my beloved Lush Light Bronze.

Understand completely! You sound like you have a lovely collection! I'm a hoarder of bronzers, blushes and all things makeup basically :haha: I love AS, didn't back it up so I "need" this one! ;)

Got my Hipness today! At least on my phone, the swatch/color looks quite accurate. Tried to watermark it so a certain unpopular person cannot steal it :D

I'm very new to MAC and even I'm a little bored from this collection, at first I was excited with the color story but now....it really feels a little meh. But I want to buy my first bronzer and I'm very interested in GR. Does anyone know which skincolors it suits?

Hipness is a more matte color, isn't it? I have larger pores so shimmery blushes are not my friend. It makes me sad because so many MAC blushes that are so beautiful in color are shimmery or have sheen and I just cannot wear them.

The bronzer is very nice looking, may fall into my cart... Even though I DO NOT need another bronzer. I apply it so lightly that the two I have will last me years... =\ but that compact :eyelove:

Delicates or Golden rinse for paler complexions? Im guessing Golden Rinse. I just wanna use it as a light dusting.

Golden Rinse looks beautiful but I own AS and it's kinda light for my skin, I think both blushes, highlighter, and steam heat for me

I'd like to know, too. Golden Rinse looks pretty orange, though. I'm still trying to find a good bronzer for my skintone, but I'd prefer it to be matte..

I mean from the descriptions it sounds like Golden Rinse is the lightest one, it looks a bit rosy in the promos...

DELICATES neutral deep bronze with fine gold shimmer
GOLDEN RINSE light brick reddish bronze with fine shimmer

Can somebody show me what AS looks like blended? Preferably about NC25. I'm thinking of getting Golden Rinse, but Bronzers tend to go Orange on me. One of the only ones I can use is Benefits Dallas because it's like a dusty rose color.

Golden Rinse is the better choice (because of the red in it > more natural). It does not matter if it's lighter or darker but what the tone is.
