MAC's are missing the one thing all the others have in common, based on what my friend experienced the other day. So unless they tweek these before the anticipated fall launch, I'm skipping. On me, LC has full colour payoff and wear 8+ hours, depending on what you eat of course. I love them. I don't order them directly from LC tho. I order them from a different retailer.
I got quite a few liquid mattes to check out this summer, better get a camera ready and some swatches
Do they not dry down or something? This is disappointing. I haven't tried liquid lipsticks before and was hoping Mac would be the first but based on what you've said I guess I'll be trying LA Splash and LC first.
I'm gonna give DOC a try first, I love a bit of Purple Rain

I'm just about out of my Face and Body and have tried the new Pro-longwear and the regular Pro-longwear and don't love either.

Any news about other formulas coming soon? If not, any suggestions from the current line? Any opinions on the Mineralized foundation?

Thanks for the help.

No wonder since FB is totally different foundation than prolongwear line. There is another one coming out that should be light enough for someone who likes FB - someone said it will be released in fall?

Mineralized is moisturizing and lightweight but definitely heavier than FB. maybe you should try BB or lightful c tinted moisturizer?

Yup, when I was at MAC yesterday the MA said they were coming back and would be perm. I'm in Canada though so hopefully that means everywhere?!
The SA I spoke to last week also said that the Patentpolishes would be perm (I live in the Netherlands btw).

Not matte enough? Sucky staying power?

Either way, I'm disappointed :(

@erine1881 did i miss or did you say why are u skipping mac?

btw ladies is lime crime better than kat von d in regards to the liquid lipsticks
I own both brands and although I don't support LC business practices I do admit that her velvetines are better than any other liquid lipstick I own including KVD.

I've always been put off from purchasing directly from LC, for a number of reasons (despite owning Serpentina, which I ordered from eBay). What's the colour payoff like? How long is the wear time on them?
Color payoff is great as in you only need to apply one layer and it's fully opaque plus its true to color. Wear time varies depending on which shade you choose to wear but I've worn mine for over 8 hrs and they don't budge unless you eat greasy stuff.. but that's every liquid lipstick.

Not matte enough is something I have zero tolerance for when it comes to liquid lipsticks, I'm hoping that's not it :/

Maybe they're drying or not long lasting.
I bet they don't set properly so that they smudge easily.

Smudge-city!!! Super matte, but smudges real bad!
