I was just going to ask if you were shipping that $25 item to me right after you get it.

I've never tried it but I need something for my EL DW foundation, the non-pump is driving me crazy!

GIRL! Throw a MAC pump on it! You just need to cut the straw slightly to make it fit the shorter EL bottle but otherwise the cap/threading is a perfect fit from what I hear. Google it for tutorials! A little while back, someone posted about Nars foundations not having pumps because it causes the foundation to oxidize. Anyone remember what that was about? I'm planning to grab Double Wear and a MAC pump in the next few days but I want to be sure I don't mess up my foundation!

That ish is $10! LOL, which I should have done because I bought a Nars one for $7 and it didn't work so I lost $7

I knew full well that the MAC one would have probably fit since they're the same company but I even asked at the counters at Macy's and they were all clueless.

Edit: I'm the one who said that as per the Smashbox rep (who used to work for the man who started Nars) at my Macy's. He said the Smashbox pumps don't let air in and they paid for that technology.

My NARS foundation has a pump on it and it has yet to oxidize.

That's why I was so confused! Someone here posted that they were speaking to a brand rep who told them that, unless perhaps I'm misremembering.

It was me, I edited my post to reflect that. I didn't even see it when I first replied!
Man I don't know, I was just relaying what dude said. He said both foundations are excellent and I could have gone either way. That's when I said I would have gotten SB because it already came with the pump whereas Nars didn't. That's when he went into the whole explanation and demo'd it for me. I think Nars sells it separately like, "Do it at your own risk, but we still want the $ for that pump, thaaaanks". Hahaha. Granted he's a sales guy at Macy's, but he works with all the brands in that area at the counter and worked for the Nars guy, but lately specializes in Smashbox. He said he still does Iman's makeup and also did makeup for the first 5 seasons of ANTM.

LMAO girl you trying to make me feel crazy!? :nono: i just went back SOOOOO FAR in this thread and saw it was you who posted it originally and my face went----> lol!! I didnt see your edit but that would have saved so much time!! Lol that's how you know we are addicts :haha: I wonder if he was just hamming up SB to make the sale? I'm suspicious of brand reps who talk too much about their credentials ever since Miley Cyrus' makeup artist conned me into buying $400 worth of Napolean Perdis while I was on vacation when I was eighteen. :lecture: I was never even able to get the concealer quad to open! *tear*

Me too tbh. I retained what I wanted from what he said. I happen to like Iman and loved ANTM in the beginning so I remembered that part

He did say one thing he learned from a little old lady when he was in Italy once was olive oil on the face nightly. To break down the makeup before removing it and after. That's it.

OMG
napoleon is such a garbage brand. no one wanted to buy it not even when it was 75% off
Such garbage. I only had one blush/eye shadow that I threw away (or maybe I gifted to some pour soul) years ago and I still have two of their hard a$$ brushes that I rarely touch.

I've heard Clinique's pumps fit both EL's and MAC's and they're $5 I think.
