These swatches are so helpful. I'm trying to decide on Morange (not that I should be spending any more money!) It's so pretty for summer, but I think it will look awful on my NC15/20 skin. I typically have strong yellow undertones that have sort of disappeared into grayness with my anemia, and now it's hard to determine what will look okay when my skin gets back to normal. It's frustrating, and all the swatches on Spektra help. Thanks!!!Wash and Dry is at MAC Time Sq. I went swatch crazy!
All lipglasses, CDN, Morange and SH lipsticks, FU next to the light lipglass. All liners. Top left us Green Clean. Refined Golden I'm getting and even the darker in the Sculptor one works on my skin tone. Edit: close ups
The light/goldish one is a bit troublesome.

omg I am SO ANNOYED because I ordered from mac the morning this collection came out, but I ordered a nail polish so my order had to ship ground... Hopefully my things come before tomorrow night because I am going out of town and I am anxious to have them!
By the way, has anyone else been having problems with ebates? I made two nordstrom orders during the 16% sale and only one order has shown up as pending. Was this because my other order I had shipped to a different person?

Love that one, got it at my cco a couple months ago. It's still there along with another color...This arrived from MAC today, separate from my W&D orders. I was surprised to see it on MAC and happy to get it since I missed the AA collection last year. I like the color, though I think the plummy brown gold color is more suited to a fall collection. And I hope it's still fresh since it is from last year's collection!

That light color was crap. It was patchy and took more work than the other two. Not sure if it was because it's a tester...

I got Washteria too, tumble dry n domestic diva. for my roomates bday I got her tumble dry n laundry list n my mom bday steam heat =)Thanks for the Welcome back Girls!
I think my nordies had the collection out today, cause my dad texted me at 9am to tell me
i told him to get the green polish for me Washeteria and Freshen up. Im still waiting for him to report back tho.

Edited my og post. Definitely some layering can happen with the lipsticks and glosses. SH with H/C, Morange and LL. One sa at MAC said she put Girl on Board on top of TD and a guy said Rosy Rim liner will also look nice with TD. He said CDN can be lined with the same liners I mentioned earlier, Chestnut/Cork, etc.Edit, sorry I was rushing to a Sephora Highlighting and Contouring class earlier! Wash and Dry is at MAC Time Sq. The sa said they released a day early and even they weren't expecting that. I went swatch crazy! Edit: I put the names on this one:Girl on Board is nice. I was wondering about it. I may have to get it and Morange! Freshen Up is nice even without the overspray (didn't see it with since it was gone by the time I got there after work.

It sure seems like a lot of stores released today. I don't know if stuff will sell out by the a.m. It was 6pm and they still had everything. With JP things were already sold out by that time. Looong before. This collection is larger... FU may disappear first I'm guessing.

I was unsure of the color; it looked so dark brown on the MAC site, but in swatches it looked pretty, so I ordered it. And I'm glad I did! It definitely has a plummy undertone. I think I'm going to play with more pinkish lipliners under it to see how it affects the color. And now I have what I think is probably a stupid question, so please forgive me. What is a CCO? I keep seeing it here on Spektra. I'm pretty sure, whatever it is, we do not have one near me as I live in a "one Starbucks town" that doesn't even have a mall! It sounds as if it's a great place to find past collections?

Well. I told myself that I wouldn't bother with this collection and avoid it like I did Mac is Beauty but that was a fail. I ordered FU from bloomies and that just shipped. I decided to call the MAC at Kings Plaza and was surprised to hear that the collection was out. So I decided to go swatch hipness and Tumble dry aaaannnnnddd they both came home with me
. I really really like Tumble Dry. What I didn't like was the dry feeling it gave me. But I will make it work because the color is so nice to me. And hipness is a beautiful blush. The makeup artist decided to buy it after I tried it on. Cool collection. I'm happy with my purchases.

It's Seducing Sound, right? See at the cco I paid $11.75 for it. A cco is a discount cosmetics outlet. It's not a stupid question. They're usually around designer outlets. So MAC would be an Estée Lauder one with all their brands. At least that's how the one near my job is. They would have a couple current things but for the most part it may be disco'd products, items from certain collections that didn't move as fast. Overstock, etc

Actually DD is more raspberry and demure while VGMC is more hot pink.
