I'm trying to tell myself I don't need Morange.

Even Karen said they weren't pigmented much! I mean I swatched one yesterday but I didn't have the time to really analyze. What kind of brush are you using with it?
they are not meant to be pigmented
it is that kind of very light formula same as sculpt powders. they are like a sheer veil of product

people need to learn about the formula before they write this kind of stuff

Could someone with near NC20 skin post a picture wearing Fruit Cocktail and Tumble Dry? I see that it looks absolutely gorgeous on dark skin (montREALady!), but it's hard to tell what it would look like on light skin. TD looks very yellowish on me without lipliner, so I was hoping FC could help. I tried it over Boldly Bare, and it looks good, but I would like it to be more peachy. Thanks in advance!!!

I had to do both so you can see how orange it turns. This was my first time using this combo and I'm not sold. I'll try a couple other liners later on to see if I can get a better result. I'm NC25 btw

For studio sculpt bronzers it even says in the official description SHEER BUT BUILDABLE

than why are people complaining about sheerness ?

Everyone get TD and Fruit Cocktail liner. It's a must. Like your makeup life depends on it

WOC: get Hipness

That is all.
I was completely skipping this collection until this post. I love my Fruit Cocktail liner so I guess I need Tumble Dry. Just called my counter and they are holding one for me to pick up tomorrow.

I didn't want to but I stopped by Macy's and ended up walking away with some goodies I picked up Hipness, Morange and FU. I didn't expect FU to be so huge, lol I thought it was the same size as the blush. So far I only tried Morange and Its a pretty color but it clashed with the makeup I have on today . I'm gonna wait another day to wear it again

I have to thank you people on this board! After several commented that W&D was in their local MACs on Wednesday, i called mine. Yup, there, too. So i hurried down. There was a crowd... of MAC MUA having some sort of meeting.

Everything was in stock. I got:
• both big brushes, 125 and 126
Creme d'Nude lipstick (so i could have *something* with the pretty packaging)
Accentuate eye liner pencil (after testing Delineated which was warmer)

I almost bought Dirty Blonde Fluidline Brow Gelcreme, but then it dawned on me that i already have it from a previous release!
I swatched the Technakohls, but Sudsy just didn't have the sparkle i've seen in photos, so i passed.

Those 4 things were my whole haul. I'm still thinking about the Brow Set - i didn't test them, so i have a reason to go back :)

Yes, I realized that they were supposed to be a veil, that's how the MAC guy described them yesterday. I figured because of the name they were supposed to be more pigmented as to "sculpt" the face, etc. I seriously didn't pay attention to the bronzers, lol. Actually, Karen didn't say they weren't pigmented per se, but that's what I got from the below, though she did say they were designed to be light at the end:
"the collection’s two Studio Sculpt Defining Bronzing Powders are not re-promotes (as far as I’m aware), but they’re super sheer — noticeably sheerer than the regular MAC Bronzing Powder line. Of course, that’s kind of the point, as the gel-like powdery formula is designed to give extremely light coverage. Very no-makeup makeup."

I just came back from picking up my order (RG & GOB) from Bloomies, it's definitely Delicates that works more on me. Not a huge necessity for me but definitely looks nice. Not sure if it will translate the same way on my face or make me look ashy. There's no way to know unless one tries!

Not everyone likes that, lol.

Omg you're cracking me up! For me personally, it depends on what it is and my mood. I don't need to wear makeup and I'm comfortable going out without any on (errands, most weekends I don't wear any). But when I choose to wear it, I want certain things to stand out and pop (not drag queenish, but you know what I mean). I don't need to spend hours to make my face look "natural", I just won't wear makeup

Those bronzers are buildable though, I tried in store with the #125 brush, it was beautiful.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. Actually, I think it looks lovely on you. On me, TD is very yellowish. It's just not pretty and I was hoping FC might save it. Now I wonder if it would work better over a pinker lip liner? I really don't want to return it, but I need to find a lipliner for it. Thanks again!!!
