Yeah, that's what I realized about the 125, but I don't have a contour like it, so that's ok. It did o.k. with GR, but I liked the application the MA did using the 126 better. If it were a bit cheaper (and if Tom Ford hadn't devoured my wallet) I would cave.
I understand! I wanted some items from TF's new collection, but I knew I'd be able to get a lot more from this collection than from the TF collection for the same amount of cash. I tend to save expensive purchases for the items I really need, like my foundation and powder which are Guerlain. It's $63 for the foundation, $57 for the regular pressed powder and $62 for the Meteorites compact, but I just have to always have those three things! I'll give up many other things to make sure I have them! I felt uncomfortable spending $46 on the 126, but I haven't bought an expensive brush in a while. I think my most expensive brush I spent like $65 on several years ago. Though I've been really tempted to try the Japenese brushes, I just cannot afford them while in graduate school. So the 126 is a nice alternative, and I admit I just love the W&D colors! I'll try to remember to post about how I like the 126 once I receive it.

@elegant-one here is how GR and Delicates look on me. I swatched them pretty heavily with my finger for comparison purposes. HTH!

In the photo, they look fairly similar in the pan... but in IRL you can very distinctly tell them apart. :)

Nars Siberia for reference. (MAC foundations are all a tad too dark, too pink, or oxidize too much for me.)

Like I said, I'm really really loving Delicates on me. Obviously I wouldn't apply these as heavy as my swatches. I like that they're quite sheer. I could probably get away with both but I find myself reaching for Delicates more. It's more in line with my other favorite bronzers like Armani #100, etc.
Thank you hun! They're both pretty.

Yeah so that's not an overspray on FU, it's dust! It was gone in a couple swipes! Errr. I ended up putting a Colourpop highlighter on top! I need to try again. Maybe as a blush. Or maybe as a return back to Bloomies
I have strongly considered returning my FU because it's just not that special once the over spray is gone, but I don't have the receipt anymore :'(

Why do you think I ended up buying another one???? The overspray made it popular
Maybe it's just in my head, but even though my overspray is gone, there's still this pretty golden sheen when I apply it lightly like a highlighter. I use the brush from MIB.

Finally got all of my stuff from Nordstrom I love CDN with girl on board and steam heat is such a pretty muted red on me I like that it's a little more subtle than some of my in your face reds. Tumblr dry is very light but it's pretty I haven't tried morange or domestic diva yet. I got the 125 brush and it's pretty and very soft I'll have to try it out today I also ordered the it cosmetics x Ulta powder brush and I looked at the handle and it's number 126 ha. it is sooooo soft omg I know it's not From this collection but I thought it was funny that I got a 125 and 126 lol.

The over spray was awesome it would've made FU a phenomenal highlighter :aargh:
Seriously MAC, just make a solid highlighter with only the pigment from the overspray and call it done. That way we can use it alone or mix it with other products we have to fix because they weren't made correctly.

I totally agree....I'm just leaving Nordstroms and returned FU. Talked to the MA and she said a lot of people have expressed disappointment in MAC's decision to only have it as an overspray. She said people felt decieved.

No pics for this post (sorry!) but I have been wearing "Tumble Dry" quite a bit this week to work. It's a yellowish peach on my lips, with noticeable glitter. The texture/finish reminds me of another lustre I own, "Shy Shine" (as opposed to a lustre like "Hug Me"), in that the texture isn't as creamy because of all the shimmer. It's also sheer - and for me that says a lot because my lips are not very pigmented, and I usually have no issues getting anything to show up.

Regardless, it's a lovely color after I put a few layers on. It's very soft, pretty, and summery and I'm glad I decided to get it. As much as I wish there was more pigment, I think the lustre finish was a good way to go for this particular color because of the softness/evenness that it achieves. The sparkles catch the sunlight nicely, too, without feeling gritty.

I forgot to mention in my last post that when I went to the counter and picked up "Tumble Dry," I also looked at "Crisp Whites" because something really caught my attention about the color when I saw swatches on here. Well, much like "Tumble Dry," it was gorgeous but needed some building up. I really wanted to take it home with me but ultimately decided not to because I'll be moving next year to a sunnier place where I will likely perma-tan (I tan waaay too easily...which kind of sucks, because I like being pale lol).

Anywho, I went on and on and on about how beautiful it was to my boyfriend, and he ended up surprising me with it. I got the package yesterday with my black box for the Matte Lip. He spoils me too much. T_T

I came here to confess that I bought Steam Heat, Tumble Dry, Domestic Diva, Girl on Board, Hot/Cold, AND both brushes when I just knew I was skipping. I unsubscribed from the thread and everything! I walked by the MAC counter at Nordstrom and was like uhhhh, yeah, I need this. Smh.
