My bronzer arrived, too. Looks lovely and I love the scent it has. But the white plastic-meh. On the bright side, I guess it makes it lightweight to travel.

It is. I could probably use it as a finishing powder if I applied it with a light, fluffy brush like the Mac 187, but it's still noticeably deeper than my skin. If I use a denser brush, it shows as a subtle but noticeable flush of colour.

as i continue my journey to research guerlain before my first major purchase...has anyone tried the meteorites compact? i hear alot of the BALLS but wondering if there's a difference or merely a preferance? im thinkin the compact is mainly for traveling i suppose but wanted to make sure the effects are the same....

Yes Kiki love-----I have Météorites Compact 03 Medium---I apply it after my setting powder as a finisher to refine & blur, not unlike the Météorites Perles. It is more
practical for travel.

YES!!!!! That's exactly what I have. I might even pick up the compact in Dore 04 at some point.

Dore in the Météorites is pretty dark, which is why I got the compact in medium. I wore it once and didn't recognize myself but for whatever reason it oxidized on me,
but it only happened that one time. I knew I could wear Medium as well because I also purchased the balls in medium. Bottom line---you can probably wear both too!!!

I have the compact in medium, but the SA also used the doré on me, and it also worked. It was a little bit like a finishing bronzer for me (and I am the one the told that all the terracotta ones would be too dark for). I love the look of the balls, but imho they look like a royal PITA to travel. The compact is very practical. There is the voyage one, that is very $$$, and then there is yet another one, it seems it has an incorporated puff or so.

I purchased the compact in Clair, I could not figure out why Voyager was so much more. I only own the blushing balls. Rainbow is finding its way through Russia to get to me. Ms. Monsy would be the one to know about the balls vs the compact.

There is no much difference or any when applied between balls and the compact. I own both and like both. Kiki I think you can do medium or even dore for summer. But medium might give you more of a brightening effect. Obviously compact is much more travel/purse friendly.

Thanks everyone for nice words about my cat. She really acted like she was a royalty. I was never a cat person since I grew up with 2 bull terriers. But the way she came to us and how we saved her and how she ended up being super smart and feisty and how she even survived being shot from a gunshot from our neighbor ... she was a real fighter

funny thing - everyone at my work is going crazy over the new mascara. They saw me wearing it and rushed to buy it to nordies - completely sold out! no surprise there. You see what happens when you give out samples of such a good product? It clearly boost your sales.

That happened with the Aucoin product. By the time I got home from the North Shore (about an hour) I was a pumpkin. I skipped into Daddy's office to show him my wonderful new look!!!! He looked up from his computer and over his glasses and calmly stated: tell me you didn't pay to look that orange. I ran to the ladies room and nearly died!!!!

Ms. Monsy, you beloved late kitty looks like she was a Russian Blue or at least part Russian Blue. I own two Havanna Brown cats, Jackson Pollock and Chaos. Chaos is a perfect name for this cat. I know you have mentioned before. What is the fragrance sold in perfume that smells like the balls???? I have placed the powder puff from the blush in my undies drawer. When I open it, the fragrance is just so lovely, and I am not into fragrance. Thanks for your knowledge, you are just super!!!!!
