MAC Schmac! I started with MAC but I go where the quality is. There are some staple products that MAC will always do right for me. Lipsticks for example. However I would rather spend my eyeshadow money on MUFE. They are a superior product. PERIOD. I would hate to find out you missed out on some great products from Melt, MUFE, UD or Buxom because of some misguided loyalty to MAC. Go where the quality is. MAC will always have a special place in our hearts. Like a first boyfriend, sometimes we grow up and move on.

MAC sometimes acts like a cheating, trifling ho' though! lol. I find it's just face powder, powder blush and lipsticks that I really buy from them. I have one eyeshadow palette from them and while I like it, it's not life changing!

Let the church say AMEN!!! I totally agree about the some of the staples but I have found AMAZING QUALITY products outside the confines of MAC.

...and quite often Mac is just a tease with limited quantities and crap. So, so over it as many others are !!!!

I foresee putting a large amount of my MAC shadows in the CB, many of which are still brand new. I just don't reach for them like I do with MUFE, Inglot or Lorac.

Is the quality of the MUFE palettes consistent with the singles? I've been looking at that nude set and been debating between that and Naked 1 (or Basics). I hardly wear eyeshadow so no sense in getting multiple nude palettes.

I might do the same even though they've been depotted.
