FAKE sellers on eBay

Thanks ladies... I agree - we should keep this list current. Sadly, they are getting better & better at making the fakes, too. If they work this hard at making fakes, just think what they could do if they put their minds to work at doing something worthwhile & good ... What a waste.... FYI....i got taken for a Too Faced Chocolate palette on ebay... So beware on these, too!!!

I've had fake MAC and a fake NARS eyeshadow palette from ebay before. A friend of mine managed to buy his wife a set of fake Bobbi Brown brushes as well.

I wanted to get Viva Glam Nicki for the longest time but by the time I was ready to buy it MAC had stopped stocking it. But I thought I found one on Amazon but when it arrived there was something not right about it. Although the packaging looked alright the texture of actual lipstick was nothing like a MAC satin lipstick. I still have it now but looking at it frustrates me because I spent good money on it but I haven't yet thrown it away maybe to remind me of my mistake....

No way! I thought I was going crazy. Funny thing is my first MAC purchase was actually candy yum yum, no box, for 23$ (!) from Amazon. I never checked the MAC site to see if it would be cheaper. I just ASSumed. So I got it. And I loved the color. Looks right. Has vanilla smell. But sooo dried out. Obviously now I order directly from MAC. But back then, I was naive. So is it possible that this is a dupe or is it just old? It looks like all the other ones I've ordered. Sticker wise. But the vanilla smell is incredibly faint. Sticker says candy yum yum matte. I was stupid for not trying MAC first, anyhow it's done and over with. Just wondering if you all think it could be a dupe?

I bought (first too faced purchase on too faced site, not Sephora) anyhoo I bough the cocoa powder foundation in golden light as a gamble. And it's awesome. Seriously. I love it. Well worth the price!

Didn't know they made fake studio fix!

A few years ago I had a customer come in... her friend had gotten her a "MAC Kit" off of eBay with a bag, some shadows, mascara, and a Studio Fix powder, all fake. She came in to exchange it for a Studio Fix that matched her. It always sucks to have to tell them it's not something that can be exchanged/returned. :s

I recently bought a MAC lipstick on eBay and it was a fake. I was so frustrated and irritated! It wasn't even a good fake! Anyway, I left appropriate feedback and did get a refund. Buyer beware!!
