Sigh. Apparently today is not my day for packages. I was out of the house when my RB came so now I have to wait until Wednesday for re-delivery. And my Sephora order of Becca Champagne Pop was supposed to come today and now it's re-scheduled for tomorrow(2 day flash shipping yeah right.) I don't know which I am more bummed about.

Display at Nordstrom. After a discussion with the Guerlain SA (who didn't realize these were different), I think I've put it together. This is a new display, which she said came without instructions so she put it out. I highly suspect this was to be put out for Anniversary Sale. Apparently pre-sale is appointment only this year (I went wha?!?!? At that too). I have a set of Rainbow Balls on hold and an appointment at this store on Thursday. I'll report back with details once I get them.

Interesting!!!! We could have waited after all????? Don't buy the brush----unfortunately those brushes suck!!!

Wow. So whoever mentioned that the Rainbow Balls would be available at Nordstrom for their Anni sale was right! Sorry, I can't recall who gave us that news.

I'm not 100% on that, but that's my conclusion.

New setup arriving to Nordstrom the weekend before Anniversary sale Pre-Sale + no stock available on the floor (but SA having seen them in backstock) + item not listed in the system as sellable..... all signs point to Anniversary Sale exclusive item accidentally wandering out to the floor early.

HA! I definitely attempted to gently pry out the canister to prove to the SA that no, these aren't the same as the regular lineup in a different tin. But not very hard. I'm not about to destroy it! I quickly realized that it was built in.

It took an in-depth discussion of the shades and shimmer level to convince her that the Rainbow balls were really a different animal altogether.

True to form (as we've all been hearing), there were too many broken ones for my taste!

Makes sense. At least we now know they came to the states after all. What did you think of them? Mine are on the way from Russia, so I'm patiently waiting to see what the heck it is I ordered.

Pretty!

I didn't play with the testers, but I did note that these were quite crumbly- like others have noted.
