what's so special about new moon? i skipped it the first time but i don't remember why

It's very pretty but too warm for me. Not my color. But people who can wear it love it. I would look like I had a black eye with it.

Aw, that sucks! Beige Rose is very pretty. We got it in the UK (it's still available at every counter I've seen) but nail polish is prohibited from international postage

I swatches it, a soft orange that you can build up. I didn't get it though, wouldn't really use it.

@Ernie Can you compare Beige Star to Sweet Beige?  Pic not necessary, written description is good.  Thanks.

So the biggest difference is that Sweet Beige has a fine sparkle whereas Beige Star has none and Is a bit more brown.

I'm a cool toned lady with a preference for cool toned eyeshadows and I make it work by putting down a neutral base such as MAC Omega Eyeshadow and pat New Moon over the top with my finger. The sparkles pop more that way too and lasts longer with the powder base as New Moon is pretty sheer

Correct, it's the "eyeshadow" version of terrana np: a marron glace base with multicolor shimmers. A beautiful shade, not so over the top as it may appear, but sheer, in need of of a base

It's a pretty copper color that's very nice w/deep browns---nice fall looks if you're into this particular color.
